PLATEAU

I was reading gbear's NSV and thought about how we all lament and become frustrated when we plateau and the scale doesn't move for awhile. Here's something silly I came up with:

P - Patience: we all need it, no matter how long the plateau lasts

L - Leveling out: As a member says, weight loss is in steps and isn't linear

A - Attention: Ensure you are paying attention to what you are eating/doing

T - Tool: Use it wisely. It provides help, but isn't the entire solution

E - Encouragement: Seek it, give it and use it to get you through

A - Alternate measurements: the scale isn't the only measure of your success

U - U will keep losing weight, plateau AGAIN, then move on.

I told you it was silly.

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Choose happy.
