Good morning :)
I think we are going to hibernate today and possibly cancel our plans for tomorrow too depending on the forecast (we are supposed to go swimming again). We did the same thing yesterday.
QOTD: my first car was a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am. When it rained you ended up with a swimming pool on the passenger side floor area. It had Nascar stickers on the back window from the previous owner. In high school I got to bop around in a little pickup truck that my grandparents owned... I loved that truck.

Good morning everyone. Today I have a bunch of errands to run and calls to make, then tonight DH and I are going out for dinner and to listen to live music.
QOTD: What was your first car? I had a Chev Impala SS. It would leave everyone else standing when the light turned green. It was like driving a boat, albeit a comfy boat. I cannot imagine parallel parking a car like that now.

You were quite the athlete. It's no wonder you had trouble with your knees. Do they give you problems now?

I played on 3 baseball teams, did rowing and volleyball. Then my knees got messed up. Had to have surgery on both of them when I was 18/19. And I wasn't even that heavy back then ?
You're on your way. It won't be long now.

Hi folks just a little update on how my progress is going, I saw the surgeon ( Dr Hagen) last week and picked up my optifast. My appointment was very brief, he weighed me again and took some notes and asked me how I was feeling and if I still want to and if I'm ready to do this. Of course I responded yes he sent me on my way and told me his secretary will take care of everything else that I need. His secretary Ella was super nice and helpful gave me my pre-op package optifast and my sick leave note for work. She told me that the hospital will be contacting me with my appointment with the anesthesiologist and pre-op which is about a 4 hour appointment.
Oh yeah and my surgery is booked for Friday March 15th!!

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend. It was miserable weather here, and still is. Not much on the go today, I'm staying home to avoid the slippery roads.
QOTD: Were you in any sports in highschool? I was on the gymnastics team. If I tried to do a front walkover now I think I would throw out my back and break a hip.
