Bad Me !!!

Funny thing, I seem to pull back just when I need friends the most!!!!   New job is much less than what I had hoped & it's gotten me down & stressed.   Good news is that it has not interferred with eating right & has only reduced my exercizing just a little.    I pack my nutritious lunch & walk on my lunch hour every day.    I'm re-thinking what I'm looking for in a "perfect" job and/or if I really, really want (or need) to work at all.    In either case, meeting KathiKins today really helped me realize how I've dropped off the OFF scene & how much I've missed it.   For all I've missed & not been there to support friends in need or welcome new friends, you have my apologies.   I'm back in now!!!!!

Jan...you certainly have been missed. I am so glad you are coming back to post more often. I hope things get better for you as far as your job and deciding if you want to work or not. We are always here to bounce ideas off of and  to offer much support when needed. Hugs connie d

Well, I for one and thrilled to have you back among us, Jan!  It's good to see you here.  You're the one who invited me to this FABULOUS FORUM and I am forever grateful for that.  Here's hoping this place can work it's magic and help to sort things out for you! Whatever you decide to do I know now, having spent a little time with you, you will do what's right for you.  I'm a good listener and have been told (by my children) that I'm always good for an opinion!  You've inspired me to get back to walking at lunchtime, too! Good for you for making healthy eating a part of your life--even with a demanding job!  I think that once you determine that you don't need to work, the stress will be less and you may even enjoy the job more.  It's a happy day when you start working because you want to, not because you have to!  In either case, kudo's for following your eating plan in the midst of it all!  Welsome home.  You are an important part of OFF. It is good to have you back Jan....it is funny how after we get some control over our lives after WLS how we rethink what is important and necessary.  Isn't it?  You know we always though before WLS we were stuck with either a job, situation, whatever, but now I think we have confidence to not have to be pushed into accepting something anymore.  We are healthy and confident and know we can that next thing or choose not to.  I feel free now and know that is because I have seen I can do this...live this life....I have succeeded at this WL and I know if I just apply myself I can succeed at the next thing. You will know what to do....
