What's New Thursday!

Hi Debbie and everyone: My, my, you folks have been busy today. I'm going to brief (I think). I have work to do already. Yes, I'm back at work but regretting it. I was feeling OK this morning when I said I would come back to work. But after doing my Thursday payday running around, I started feeling crappy again. Got home, felt hot, thought, well, it's either a hot flash or I have a fever. Took my temperature and it was 99.8. Sat down, drank some water and got the temperature to go down to 96.4 before I left for work. Now I just feel like a limp dishrag. My boss told me to finish my work as fast as I can and get out of here early. The thing is, tonight we have two reviews, one of the reasons I tried to come in tonight. My boss wants me out of here so I can come back tomorrow night (he's a good boss!) We'll see how things go. If I don't do a whole lot, I don't feel too bad. If I do too much, I feel lousy again.  I can't believe the drama on the board this morning: Aime's grandson (so so sad); Annette's hospital mishap (the nurse ought to be disciplined) and I hope the lymph node biospy is OK. I haven't read the rest of the posts. I don't have any drama, just shopping after payday. I just hope to make it through the day. I have my Starbucks mug here with all your shiny faces staring back at me ... I was showing it to one of my coworkers who thought it was very cool.  Well, I should get to work. Have good night.

eileen be sure you are getting your fluids in--my goodness- if you hadn't said who you were in yesterday's phone vm i wouldn't have known it was you! get better gf!!!!! i'm not sure where i was when i didn't take your call but i think we were at the doctors... get better!

hi all it's about 19* here and the sun was out britely today- wind seems to have died down but this afternoon it looked like rain; you know, the whole atmosphere seems cloudy even in the house! i guess we are expecting snow - pat root thanx for the wonderful newspaper clipping about my gramma's upcoming 90th birthday! it came today with your cute card! we still aren't sure whether or not we are driving up on saturday- have to look at the weather and also the price of gas!ouch up to 3.14 here...i'll contact you pribvately if we are coming... yesterday was michael's first appt at the therapy place-it was not pleasant- they were nice and somewhat efficient but he clammed up soon as there were papers to fill out and some of the questions ticked him off...his ill side doesn't understand the need for answers in order to help the whole picture- if he had gone alone i am sure he would not have stayed...i am hoping monday morning with the psychiatrist goes better! and then in a week is the pschiatrist for the workers comp appeal-that will NOT be good.... last nite i sat and knitted for awhile- i am trying to get a box out to my caps for a cure group-this month we are including kids' caps again and they are more fun ! susan-it's kindof like the knitting for noggins- our group sent a big box out for that event...if you are interested in the group let me know...we have super gals from all over knitting!!!! speaking of susan--how are you feeling now that you are done being cleansed??? what did you eat first???? while knitting last nite; i watched the travel channel's special on the mall of america--i think we should plan an OFF gtg there so we can all visit connie d and shop til we drop--since they have so much there we wouldn't even have to go outside!!!! and i wanna see camp snoopy!!!!!!!! tha****er ride (log ride) is my style!!!! i have accomplished absolutely nothing today except to get the mail and buy lottery tickets for tomorrow nite...we took a nap this afternoon and the cat and dog both were on me! that's progress!!of course, it didn't last long! so after they both urged me to get up i am here- warming up some awesome soup for dinner-michael moved to the couch where he is snoring--his haldol is really making him sleepy today- that's ok. after dinner i am thinking more knitting before bed...life at our house is quiet which is good ... i am so sorry that aime is going thru what she is ... hugs and prayers to all......

Mall of America is a lot of fun ... we could do that as a GTG ... lots of good hotels up there (and an Embassy Suites nearby too.) Near the airport too for those who need to fly in. I love the Mall of America, it's a lot of fun. Been there several times when Ilived in South Dakota (when it was just a five hour drive. Margo, I'm drinking lots of fluids ... I'm constantly thirsty ... but it doesn't seem to matter, I always need more. I'm not even sneezing that much, but I'm terribly congested.

I am definitely up for Minneapolis....only about a 4.5 hour drive for me....and it is gorgeous in June.....Marti
