It's almost 12:30, officially Thursday!  So, let's hear what's new with your.  Couldn't pass up the chance to post the What's New.  I really like the way it works now, but the East Coast OFFers have a slight advantage! Debbie

Drama- drama- and more drama. That's what's new. N under the influence of her mother has left the hopital and has come and taken LP from my home. This happened the first time Tuesday evening when she set me up to bring him to the hospital to visit her. The CPS worker explained to her family that removing him was equal to kidnapping. I got him back around 5 pm last night. Around 7:30 N came to my home picked him up and walked out the door. My son called and filed a police report. She returned about an hour later asking for baby clothes and other supplies. The CPS worker talked to both her and the police. I gave her supplies for LP. I wouldn't want that baby to suffer even under the extreme emotional misguidance of these women. I don't know if N was released from the hospital or if she left AMA. I hope she didn't leave AMA as that hurts her chances for treatment of her heart condition. They will not translpant a heart into someone who cannot follow medical advice and treatment.  I am thinking my son and I will go down to file for custody of the bab today. This is under the recommendation of the CPS worker.  My heart is so saddened by all of these events. I can only continue to pray for N to be able to see what is best for her son and for herself.

AIME -  We must have been posting at the same time. Please excuse the words and timing. My choice of wording seems inappropriate and trivial compared to what you are going through. I am so sorry for this latest event in your life.  Hugs Annette

Aime,

I am so sorry to hear about this turn of events. I know everyone cares about Paul. Sometimes emotions sure can get in the way of sanity. And from what we've heard LP's other grandma doesn't sound like she handles things rationally to say the least.

Little Paul's mom's health is certainly not such that she can be sure of being with him on a day to day basis. Like you I sure hope N did not leave the hospital without their approval. She has such serious health problems I can't imagine not following doctor's orders.

Sending you special thoughts your way. You are a very special person.  LP, your son and N are lucky to have you. I'm sure N is under her mother's influence and that can be a hard one to handle.  Hugs my friend. Karen C

Aime, I'm so sorry you're having to deal with all this stress.  Of course you want what's best for LP.  What's wrong with that other grandmother, is she   Doesn't she realize that this will jeopardize her daughter's life, not to mention what it's doing to that poor child.  Hopefully the court will do the right thing.  You and yours will be in my thoughts and prayers. Aime....my heart is breaking for you, your son and of course LP. What in the world were they thinking...good grief. N is not in any condition to be taking on the responsibilities of LP by heself. As for her mothers help that wouldn't be much. I will keep you, your son and LP in my prayers as always. Good luck with filing for custody. You certainly have a good chance of winning.  That poor little baby......that other grandmother is a nightmare!!! Hugs and love....connie d

Aime, I am soooo sorry about this latest round of things involving N and LP.  In the end, I am sure all things will be worked out in the best interest of LP and I think we can all say without a doubt that any judge, with half a brain, would know what is best for that baby!!! In the meantime, my prayers and postive thoughts are going out to all of you, including poor N who seems to be unable to make the right decisions for her own good and it seems her mother does not really help matters any. . . Bless you dear heart!

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

That darling little munchkin LP is so in the middle of all of this, and I hope that each time he changes hands he feels LOVE and joy at his presence.......that is what will get him to thrive.
