You NEVER know

My Momma called last night to say my cousin had passed away from a heart attack!  She was 59!

She was always the skinny, perky, healthy cousin!  She had a wonderful husband and 3 grown successful children.

She had gotten up in the night restless, had a cup of cocoa, and went in to sleep in the other bedroom so she wouldn't bother her husband who had to get up and go to work extra early.  She has done that before, I guess.  He got home from work and called out to her.  No answer.  Went upstairs and she was still in bed, passed away sometime in the night, apparently.

It is a shock to us all.

So sorry to hear about your cousin.  59 is awfully young and reminds us that we better tell those around us how much they are appreciated on a daily basis.

And with that, Grammylew, we appreciate you... and wish you and your family grief healing during this holiday season.

Losing someone we love is never easy and when it is so unexpected it hard to comprehend.

I am sending special healing prayers for you and all of your family. Just know that she is now looking down on all of you. Please take care of yourself and know that you are loved here by your brothers and sisters.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
