Hey Everyone

I for one will be so glad this year is over....not a good one for me on soooo many levels

We say we are going to reflect and make changes rather it be losing weight or other areas of our lives, but the end of one year and the beginning of a new year is a great time to do so.

Moving and Losing is my number one goal.  Getting
Back On Track is another. One thing I am going to do is make an effort to write things down more.  We all know this is a great way to get a clear picture of what is happening with our eating and exercising...

So my friends, Did You Move To Lose Today?  Come on in and let us know how great you are doing, what works and not  We are here for each other

Happy New Year

Take care,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

Prior to my Plastics 11/21 I was walking every morning 2.5 miles a day plus using weights. It's been too hard walking in the dark, cold mornings so I've gone back to riding my recumbent bike every morning for 1/2 hour. I'm so glad to have the bike so I don't need to go outside when it's cold/rainy/dark outside, but I'm looking forward to returning to my walking schedule this spring.

Thank you for the encouragement. Exercising daily is one of the most important tools I have to keep me on track. It not only helps our outer body look fit and toned but also helps our organs including our lungs and hearts and will help us all live longer.

Being fit and healthy is always my #1 goal. Happy New Year!!

First congrats on your PS, yipee  It's like dotting the i's and crossing the t's....

Make sure you don't do any more than your surgeon wants  you to, but that being said great job on getting back to exercising so fast!!!

Keep up the great job you are doing...

Take care,
Kathy

I worked last night, so I am just getting up - so Good Morning to everyone !!

I plan to get on the treadmill and use my cycle - and I hope to use my Richard Simmons tape sometime in the next couple of hours.  He really gets me moving and if I can make it thru 4 songs/routines, then I feel pretty proud.  I hope to eventually do the whole tape....

I have added a component to this equation for myself and that is journaling on my daily plate.  I am increasing my protein and water intake by seeing the numbers add up.

Will try to post later with my actual numbers.

i cant move too much now cause of my knee and ankle surgeries, but i try to at least exercise the good leg from the wheel chair, and use my two pound weights to exercise the arms a bit

I am sure by your post you will be up and moving as quickly as that doctor says so...

We hope you get better soon    When the time is right as about working out in the water.....
