Advice needed

I havr been trying to  insert the  Ticker  for my weight loss but just can't seem to get it done.  When I highlight the ticker, it highlights everything else and that just won't do.  I am not very computer  savy  so it is hard sometimes for me to do  things.  Can someone offer advice on this subject?    My beginning weight was 296.6, surgery weight 288 on 9-15-08, currently at 215 and goal is 170, am 5"8" and 62 years  "young".  This is a great place to come and read  the posts, I sure enjoy it.  Later---Sandra
