Yikes! on my way to work

Okay, 2 weeks ago a motorist found a body on the business loop when he had to pull over for car troubles.
Today I passed a police car behind another car, back window blasted out probably by a gun, as I passed the car the driver side window was splatted with blood, so much so that you couldn't see inside the car. My stomach went outside my body on seeing that!!
I immediately called my hubby, I was so shaken up by this site and I work in a hospital so I see a lot of stuff but this was so out there. Not like TV at all. I'm sure this will be on the news today.
I'm still taking deep breaths, and trying to find my "happy place" ....

This was almost in the same place that the body was found. It's a crazy world we live in.

OMGosh ... is it possible to apply for a job in a hospital in a safer area? I would be freaked out too!

I'm in a safe place at the hospital, this was on my way to work today.
I work in Volunteer Services (paid employee) ...so I'm safe, used to work in the ER, now that went from 0 to 100 in less than a few seconds with traumas coming in. Loved working ER but it's really for the young ones, it wore me out as I got older.

Sorry u had that experience.  Highway deaths are usually messy let alone a shooting.  Seen a few
