Food Counts Book

Last night I was at Border's Books and picked up a book by Corinne T. Netzer called The complete book of food countsIt counts everything; Calories, carbs, protein, cholesterol, sodium, fat and fiber.  It's the eighth edition and is unbelieveably thorough.  I know all you people that are further out probably have something like this, but for the newbies this is great.  I'm having fun just looking up stuff I normally eat, and being quite surprised.  This will be a great use to me when planning my meals and keeping my food journal. 
One week to go before I find out my surgery date!

You can actually do it free on line.  Just type in your food and it will tell you what your calories, fat, protien, ect is for the day.

I use thedailyplate.com to track all my food and execise.  It has name brands and even restaurant food.  If it goes in my mouth, it goes on thedailyplate.com  Keeps me honest.

Jan, it won't be long now and you will be taking your seat on the losers bench! Congratulations and btw..the book will get use after the surgery too. That is a good thing to have to look up when in doubt! I have one similar to it and use it frequently.
