Feeling good today: Have lots of energy

S protein shake
B 2 oz chicken salad with LF mayo and celery; mixed pineapple,mangos,raspberries
L same as breakfast
S protein shake
D Chilean sea bass and aspargus

Exercise: AM treadmill 35 min; arm exercises with weights 
                  PM Jazzercise 1hr

Hey everyone and terrific Tuesday,
I'm back at work today although still "running" to the bathroom occasionally.  Made a start on cleaning my room yesterday but will need to do some more tonight.  I can see my desktop and the bedding is clean.  Decided summer is here and finally removed the electric blanket. 
Gotta get busy here but I'm smiling.  WaaHoo, CV Linda

****  How appropriate, because I've been thinking about constipation today.  I take Benefiber (a whole 3 grams of fiber) and eat fruits and vegetables every day, but I'm still far off the 21 grams of fiber I'm supposed to get, and things are just not moving as a result.

But I try not to stress about it.  My maternal grandmother was a nurse, and every time I saw her, the first words out of her mouth were, "Have you moved your bowels yet today?"  I swear, her dying words were, "I can't move my bowels."

Jean,you made me laugh!! I was sitting think here thinking I need to take some milk of mag tomorrow. I use 3 parts water to one part laxative,per my NUT. I try to get in fiber,and apples usually help,but my meds really stuff me up,and the meager offerings from my body have been disappointing. I have to be very careful and can not let things "pile up". It is very painful to the point of having to go to the hospital one time. I am very careful with the laxative, as I do not want to be laxative dependent.
I had IBS before,it seems to have abated since the surgery,I have to even be careful with fiber,can you imagine???
Really Jean...she really said that? Your grandma was on th right track. I was disturbed when I realized the pre-surgery prep they had me take was the same as my mother took at least twice a month through out her life!
Without my meds,I go 3 times a day,and I know they are very important.
Well,let me know how things come out...hehehe!
