OT: Shaving. . . . (Ladies shaving that is)
So, in a bit more than 24 hours I'll be flying off to Maui. So I decide it must be time to do a close shave since I'm planning on swimming, loose thighs and all. Finally am packed, way too much I'm sure.
So I'm in the shower with the shaving gel, razor, and water. I find myself shaving the arm pits recalling the "pit" conversation on OFF a few weeks ago. As I work my way to different areas I start thinking. . . and you all know how dangerous that can be. For me the armpits are easier than they used to be. I can actually work them over pretty good!
I'm finding hairs where there didn't use to be any (like my chin and lip), and very little hair where their used to be a lot (like my legs). Hairs on top of my toes (what's with THAT?) and hairs on my upper thighs that should NOT be anywhere near there. And even a few chest hairs! Never have resorted to a bikini wax and have no intention of going there but this adventure was a challenge.
Sorry, guys, this is probably WTMI, but it was kind of a Kodak Moment. Or maybe it was a Lightbulb Moment. . . Four years ago this was not anything that I could even manage. I had to use Nair simply because there was no other way for me to accomplish the task. I guess this is a bit of a wow!
Any way, I'm "shorn" and ready to have a wonderful relaxing five days on Maui Karen's beautiful Isle. We'll try to report in tho I'll be staying a ways from her. We plan to get together for dinner and some beach time on the weekend for sure. You all behave yourselves while I'm gone. Or if you don't, at least try not to get caught!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I can relate to your hairy post!!
I do laser hair removal for my face, it's expensive but so much more faster and less painful than electrolysis. I now only have to do "touch up laser hair removal" and it cost me $75.00 for touch-up treatments. After the first 5 treatments which were $130.00 then the cost decrease. I had basically a full beard...most ladies just get hair on lip, chin and some stray hairs on their breasts. Yep, hair on breast and cleavage area. With laser it's gone for almost good. The biotin I took caused hair to regrow on my face and boobies but it's all gone now...just had a treatment 3 weeks ago and I'm clean!!
BTW ... I am having extreme difficulty shaving my armpits since I got skinny!!! I have tried everything and now have resorted to NAIR. I don't like using a chemical but what else can I do short of wax, plucking or moving to FRANCE au naturale?????? roflmao
See you tomorrow!!
Aloha nui loa,
Maui Karen
I like sitting down now and being able to enjoy the view....smile.
My daughter has issues with me because I do not have to shave my legs..
My arm pits are almost hairless, but boy, they truly are "pits" now.
I think I take after t dad's side of the family,he did not have to shave until in his 30's and had to use deplatories because his skin was so sensitive. I do however get a stray hair on my face now again.
TMI? On here??? Never! I enjoyed Hawaii so much I did not want to come back, the 2nd time on Kona,I tried to honestly try to find a job there....grin!
Enjoy sweet lady!
