OT: Play That Funky Music:
My husband got me an I-Pod and I don't use it nearly as much as I want.
I have tried to put it on at work when I am doing computer work, but folks keep talking to me and I am afraid they will think I am ignoring them (office co-workers) sometimes they don't notice I have the earphones in and by the time I figure out they are talking to me they have already said too much that I have missed.
Oh, also, I start to sing and we all know how that sounds when someone is singing to music no one else can hear. Too embarrassing.
I really need to use it more, like when I do house work and stuff, but when I do the treadmill I am hooked on watching Netflix movies.
Husband is a musician, plays guitar and writes music and it is his passion...he writes me a song every year for Valentine's day and puts it in a CD mix for me, picking out songs that he thinks mean something to us....very sweet. He gets a picture of us and uses it for a CD cover.
I too have songs that make me so sad...but I still like to listen and all songs give me a memory and point of reference at what was going on in my life at that time.
I love music too.
