Hurry up and wait

I just came from the appointment with my surgeon.

He doesn't want to touch the lumpies on my belly unless they begin to hurt.

He thinks the belly stuff is a problem with my colon and not related to the RNY. After asking questions, he had me lay down and OMG, that man sure knows where to poke the tender spots.

The next step is an appointment with the gastro group, then a not much fun colonoscopy.

Time for a nap. That stress wore me out.

Me too...I have lumpies on my belly, probably hernia's but they don't hurt right now. I do wear support panties all the time...the cheap ones from Wal Mart the Cupid brand. Enough support and not binding. Just what I like. Yep...lumpies...we have lumpies!

I just wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers. I hope they find out what all these lumpies are and can get rid of them or make them go away very easily and quickly.

Boy oh boy.  What I've got to look forward to...........  At least I'll be prepared and know who to ask for assistance.
Oh, by the way, at my appt today I signed the contract saying that I would never drink alcohol again after surgery and would avoid ice cream.  I really felt bad signing that contract, knowing full well that I probably will  have ice cream and a drink again.  Maybe it's a non binding contract.  You think?
