hello its friday-whats new
Good morning Jacki and all other OFFers. Wow! You beat Eileen today. She normally starts the Friday one when she goes to check her bank deposit. Bet she's working late.
It is my Friday shift right now. 5 1/2 hours (when I originally typed this - now 3 1/2 hours) and I will be going home, not having to work again until Sunday night. At least not work that I get paid for. Mary has been texting me with stuff she wants done this weekend at the house. I'll have to go back to work to rest.
I have Eddie's tournament this weekend. Mary needs a desk repaired. Another desk moved. A computer moved. A buffet moved. A chair moved. And a garbage disposal replaced.
Otherwise I have nothing to do this weekend.

Its 450am in chicago and I cant sleep with all the traffic going down the stret
with all t stuff you have to do for Mary, I can give you a honey do list too.....I get back to Florida on Wednesday or so. If you want to come over!!!!!!!
Today we are going to repack the car and get ready to go to Benton Harbor Mi for the night on Saturday. It is my high school reunion....Should be fun. I got a new to me sundress at the resales shop!!!!!
It is going to be a long drive home. I think we are taking a longer route. I-65 all the way down ti I-19 and over the florida panhandle. I want to go thru alabama. Never really seen the deep south.
Then we are going to Destin Florida for a night of camping if I can get carl to do it.
I have the camping equipment in the car so it shouldnt be a problem. I want to camp on the beach.
Well I am going to try to get some shut eye..

I am sitting in my home office watching the sun coming up. Today is students' conferences, which means that I will be in my office all day long, seeing different students every ten minutes, looking at their papers, reading them, and then giving them pointers on how to make them better. By the end of the day, I will be be bonkers.
After my grueling day of students' in and out, I am driving down the mountain to my writer's group. My friend's sci fic novel has been signed to a pretty good publising company and we are celebrating. Then, back up the mountain. I will get all of my packing done; we are leaving for the air port at 5:00 am. I probably won't post much for next day.

I was at our son's yesterday from 8 AM to 6 PM 'helping' them build the fence. I'm not strong and young, but I can help in some ways. Little things that save him time. I also went and got lunch at Subway and we all ate lasagna here when we were done. We got the 6' chain link across the back done. The posts on the other 2 sides and front are all set in cement, and the 2X4 cross peices are almost all up. Today will be the slats and the gates. It's gonna have 6' chain link across the back and the other 3 sides will be 6' wooden privacy fencing.
One thing about working all day is, you can't eat. And when I talk about Subway and lasagna, I mean them, not me. I eat the sweet onion teriyaki on lettuce, and the sauce from the lasagna. My weight is back down to 158. I think that is 2 pounds too low, but I know once life gets back to normal I can get back to 160 where I am comfortable.
Also, we are having unusually cool weather (85), which is also good. No humidity. I don't mind working outside in those conditions.

It's off for a walk this morning with Juli before it rains. Will do our 3 miles. We walk down to the park and around the lake right behind the hospital. The walk distresses us and we work better after our walk.
Plans for the weekend: Hubby is going 4-wheeling up in the UP, returning Tuesday. No kids at home this weekend, so I'm planning around running round the house neeked!!! LOL
Will do some bike riding, sit in my hot-tub and read my book, if it ends up hot this weekend will lie in the 3 ft. swimming pool I bought for the grand-kids. Aaahhhhh...my idea of a quiet weekend! Just might even go to a movie, want to see The Proposal.
Support group was good last night, only had 7 of us and I like smaller groups anyway. Had a new pre op with lots of questions so that was great for her.

My mood is not to good this morning...I am bordering on that dang old depression again. I thought that I was a couple of weeks ago but then it left...of course it did since I didn't ask the doctor for something. Now it is back again. I know the reason and I am going to work on it now. I have to and don't have a choice...I need to go back to finding a job. I screwed up the check book REALLY BAD and now it is facing me...I need to get a job and get another pay check in here. I know that I am doing better now and I think that I can do it. When you are faced with something you know you have to do you dig in and get a hold of that inner strength and just do it!
The nurse should be coming soon. She called me yesterday and told me that she will be here between 8:30 and 10:30 and so going on what has been in the past she will be here by 9:00. Or at least I hope she is. I have to go to the bank and figure this out! I am feeling better. I have been on the antibiotic now for a couple of days. I am hoping that this one works. It is the same one..as much as I dread it. At the end of the 10 days they are going to do another culture and see what is going on.
I had Kayden yesterday for just over 3 hours. He was so good and we played and laughed and just had fun. He napped for about 45 minutes to an hour in his swing and woke up just as happy as when he went to sleep. He is so good and has such a good and sweet personality...at least he is not like his mom in that way. My bad...I shouldn't be like that...but I just tolerate her and that is it. She has the most crappy and almost hateful personality that I have ever seen. But the thing is she is not like that with others... I have to get off that subject..she has a tendency to send me nuts..because I allow it to happen. So if I get off the subject of her I will feel better.
I got the kitchen cleaned up and the dishwasher is going now. I hate it when dirty dishes are sitting in the sink. I have chicken defrosting and that is for dinner and then I am planning on getting some stuff picked up around here. The complex is planning on having a rummage sale later this month and I am wondering if I have enough stuff to do one. I am not sure. I need to venture around and see what I have....it sure would be nice to do one and get money for the stuff that is just sitting around gathering dust. So today is off to a good day. I am accomplishing things and that makes me feel good. At least I am not sitting here just gathering dust like my stuff around here!
I am going now...I wish everyone a great day today and know that I am sending love and hugs to all along with prayers being said for everyone too. Spread you joy and happiness around...gosh I wish that you all lived closer so you could spread some to me...well..can you send me some? I so need them.
