Hi Its Thursday July something!!!!!

Jeannie, my best friend is terrified of flying too. The last time she flew she was so terrified that she started yelling...We are all going to die! God help us all!!  I guess everyone stared at her and you could hear a pin drop..her kids were so ashamed they just sat there and looked a head. Now she gets dosed up with meds too...you gotta do what you gotta do. It sure beats scaring the **** out of everyone on the plane!

I am busy today with sorting through and packing up Gracies things. Tomorrow is the day I return her to her mommy. They will be so happy to see each other again....Nic too!!

I love having my granddaughters here...they will be missed. However I am ready to get back into my usual routine. I miss Dwayne to cuddle with!!

I best get busy...time to get the day going.

Hi my Connie. I am popping in late. I have had a kind of icky day. I have to go see the pcp tomorrow morning..she will probably order a culture to be taken. I am going to talk to her about seeing a Infectious Disease doctor depending on how the culture turns out. I must say it is healing but it is still green too....makes you wonder for sure!

i am glad that you are feeling better....it has been a long haul for you too. I keep you in prayers, our darling Connie.

Yes PLEASE  see some other doctor....that green part scares me!!! That just doesn't seem normal at all..... especially after all this time.

Good morning OFF gang,
I'm at work and all ready looking forward to Friday at 4:30pm...nothing like wishing your life away for the weekend!! LOL

It's sunny here in Kalamazoo and getting warmer. Will go for a walk later today and will ride my bike when I get home.

My BF daughter is in labor. New grandma to be is pacing at home til the baby is born. Her water broke at 0400 and right now is resting comfortably. I just love new babies!!!

well we didn't get any rain or storms at all here yesterday!!!! dang it!! like i said i love storms....not the damaging type just a good ole storm...

got the electric bill yesterday and OMG guess we don't use the ac anymore!!! i about s**t when i saw the bill!!!! unless its really humid it stays off!!!

work today 5-9 and i am NOT looking forward to going in...why?? because i will be there to clean up after two people that do not know how to clean up after themselves!!!! but maybe the new woman will surprise me with a clean food court this time....yeah wishful thinking!!!!

have another festival in town starting today. calling for rain everyday thru the weekend so not sure if we will go to it or not.

talked to my sister and she said it was her port that came apart and she was bleeding from that...they put in another temporary one and she can do the dialisis again. still waiting for her stress test so she can have the permanent one put in. she said gary (my ex) is eating again. still has the eye yet and not sure when it will be taken out.

well i guess i will go find something to eat get some protein in me and maybe to sit by the pool for a while.

Hi Carla and my OFF family:

It's payday and I wanted to do my shopping but I feel like hell. Got a headache and a neckache (well, they go together). Unfortunately, work beckons in three hours, more practice pages and then work after that. I'm so tired. I spent the past hour checking my payroll deposit and paying bills. I still have some money left for groceries and gas this week (yey!). But I don't think I'm going out this morning, although I may change my mind. I really do need to get a lot of stuff.

I'm just dragging today. Two more days of work.

No trips in my future, unless you count the potential trip to Wisconsin to help my brother. Oh boy! Sleeping on an Aerobed!

Well, I need some coffee or something to get me in gear.  Have a good day.

My, my, Carla, you are the happy traveler, aren't you?  What a wonderful summer you have had. I'm very jealous!

I'm off today but that doesn't mean anything more than I'm not going to the salon. Lots to do before the surgery in a week, cleaning, shopping, cooking, all those things that I always want done before I will be able to completely relax afterwards.

Finally got in touch with the Ortho about the elbow. Can't get in to see him until 8/4. Dang. Wanted to the the cortisone before I took time off so it would have a better chance of doing it's thing. Oh well. Wish everyone would follow my prescribed schedule!  LOL

Good morning, let me jump in here too.  This is the best way for me to learn about you guys and vice versa.

Last weekend I hosted a BBQ attended by 57 WLS friends and spouses from the Texas board and in the middle of the party someone mentioned (casually) that there was water dripping down from my utility room ceiling from the upstairs!!  Well needless to say we had a little flood.  Apparently the toilet seal gave out (from so much use?) and water was running downstairs.  Luckily 2 of the attendees were plumbers so they shut off the water and removed the toilet.  So long story short...I'm waiting on the general contractor to arrive to tell me what State Farm is gonna cover.  This is my last day of vacation so what a fun way to spend it.

I'm a L&D nurse and have to work Fri, Sat and Sunday from 7am-7pm so no fun for me this weekend.  Hope everyone has a great day.  Stay hydrated, it's only supposed to be 103 here in the Dallas area.

Nothing much to report today.  It is HOT here!!!!  Can't wait to get in the pool.....have to wait 5 days per the doctor.   Still "resting" and rather bored......getting antsy about all the stuff I need to do.  I have to learn to just relax and let stuff sit.  Why is it that when I'm told to "rest" and therefore have lots of time I don't feel reading.......  I can't wait for Monday so I can get back to normal routine.

I hope everyone has a nice day and that their ailments get better quickly and test results are good.
