Frantic Friday

What a day this has been.

It is Melanie's 4th birthday and I needed a couple more gifts. Since part of my job is taking clients shopping I thought - great, combine the two. So we went to K-mart where she did her shopping and I picked up two sand wagons and toys. (Matthew needs a gift also)

Over the PA system I heard my name. A police officer was standing there. All sorts of BAAAD things went through my head. A man in a rented moving van had backed over my poor car. The only reason the officers were called is that he mentioned the accident to the cashier and an off duty officer was standing behind him. Asked if he filed a report - he hadn't, then he HAD to do so.

My car has booboos. My client was more upset than I was.

Then I had to rush to my GI appointment. The doctor was 45 minutes late but I didn't care. It was peaceful.

He listened to my belly, poked, prodded and said it was noisy in there. Yup, I knew that. The CAT scan didn't show tumors or growths, so that's good.

Monday I go for a small bowel X-ray and get to drink a barium '****tail'. The following Monday a lovely colonoscopy. You all know what that means. Gross.

Now it is time to don my new outfit (Tom's eyes may pop out of his head, it is sexy)  attend a birthday party, smile pretty at the X, and watch everybody eat.

I've got my grandson's 3rd BD party tomorrow. I too will have to smile an my hubby's ex. I plan on playing with the kids and not just sit around and have her stare at me. Too bad for her, she was the one to leave this wonderful man and now she wants him back...ain't gonna happen!
eeewwweeeeee...it can be stressful...that's why I'm bringing fresh watermelon and more fruit. Not gonna stuff my face with pizza.

Sorry about your car getting more boo-boo's, glad a police office overheard. Now that's a plus.

 Smiling is the best defense and throws them for a loop. Enjoy your grandson's party. Life is such fun with the grands.

Well better late than never I always say! So here I am! I am always on the computer late! It is my best friend at this time of night because no one else is up this late that I know anyway. Hope everyone is doing good. Sounds like Annette is not doing so well! Hope the colonoscopy goes well and whatever the other tests might wind up being! I will pray that they turn out well.
 Tuesday the lawyer we have filed our bankruptcy. I am not to happy about that but what can a person do when they got permanently laid off? I am so upset about that and I am sure my husband is too. It is hard to tell since he is also trying to make the best of a bad situation too.
 Speaking of a bad situation is this site not a public site? Are the clothing exchanges not public also? The reason I was asking is I am planning on going to one tomorrow in Indianapolis and I was told that I wasn't welcome. I thought everything to do with this website is public was I wrong to assume this? Is one member of a state board the one who is in charge of the website? I was told not to start any crap and I wasn't planning on it. I just want to take my things that are too big for me to the exchange so someone who can wear them might benefit from them. I also want to get some short sleeved shirts or tops. I hope no one there makes this difficult for me. I have been hurt by what has been said there but need to get clothes for myself because of my husband being without work so long. I mean I can't afford to take money out of the bill paying money to keep myself in clothes since having my surgery. I also want to be able to go back to work soon and will need clothes for that. Please pray that things will go well at the exchange! I don't want any one being upset with me. I also wish these gals would put what I said in the past because that is when I said it. I also said it in jest but it was taken the wrong way. I said what I said about a hospital that isn't anywhere near them. So please say a pray that things will go well there, I no I am going to because the LORD will do what is best.
 Hope you all have a nice weekend! The weather is supposed to be really nice here. It is going to be in the 70's! WOOOOOOO HOOOOO!

 I think she has graduated to QUEEN Melanie. Much too old for a 4 year old and full of self confidence.

She noticed a mark on Tom's arm. He mentioned he had been stung by a bee. With hands on hips, shaking a finger, she told him he should know better than to mess with bees.

LOL,she is so precious!
