Just checked my calendar. It's MONDAY. - What's up?

Hmmmm, rain on home plate and no where else?  Weird, indeed!

I worked like a dog on Saturday and didn't get home until about 7:45. Great day for my income since I'll be off for a bit after surgery on Thursday. I sure was beat though. Sherlock (Old Dog) is still getting us up at 3:00 a.m. or so. I'm concerned about him and want to take him to the vet, but Gary insists that it's just because he's OCD. Well, he is, but I just don't think this is right. Sherlock is Gary's dog, always has been, so if he wants to be in denial about the old fart, so be it. But, the 3-4 a.m. wake up calls are getting very, very old.

Yesterday I cleaned like a mad woman getting the house tidied up before surgery on Thursday. Today I'll go to the grocery store and do some cooking to get some stuff into the fridge so I won't need to worry about that.

Sure hope Annette's test goes well today. Barium for breakfast isn't a good way to start the day!

Do old fart dogs develop prostrate problems? Maybe a UTI? Poor old puppy.

Good luck on Thursday. Don't tire yourself out before then.

Barium was beyond yucky. It wasn't moving through very well so I had to drink then walk.4 hours later it feels like they loaded me with lava - moving lava. Too gross.

YEWWWWW!!!  Mine moved  to the small bowel in less than 15 minutes. They cautioned me that it may cause constipation, but leave it to me, the reasction was just the opposite. Can't seem to do anything "by the book".

Don't know what to do about the dog. All I know is all three of us need the sleep. At least the dogs can, and do, sleep all day!

Good Monday morning.  I worked all weekend so I have the next three days off.  I have laundry and dishes going already and then it will be a Walmart run.  I need to seriously watch what I'm spending.  My electric bill was $492 this month~I know it's been hot but that is rediculous. That's $200 more than last month.  Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it, thermostat's already set on 80.

Off to pay bills and make my Walmart list...make it a super day.

Had a great weekend, kept my sweet demons under control during my Grandson's 3rd BD party on Saturday.

Today all ready did my 0545 spin class and will take a walk during my break.

After work, just may go get my hair cut and colored. It's time. I do like it longer so I can pull it back into a pony for my workouts. Shoulder length works for me.

Sang a solo at church Sunday, it went well but glad it's over. Would much rather sing a duet with my hubby.

It's back to work for me. You all have a great day. Remember to drink all your water and take those vitamins.

My Hubby and I are all moved in to our new Apartment in Sayville.  Now we just have a million boxes to still unpack...  Long Island is still a beautiful place to live!   It is nice to have all the joys of the island without having the worries about the house any more.  Now if I could only finish unpacking I could get over to the club house and use the gym! 

Good morning George & all. My weekend consisted of trying to get my house back together now that everyone is gone. My son made it back to NC ok. Said he tried not to use any highways & it took him forever. He enjoyed it though. As soon as he gets a deployment date we will make plans to be there when he leaves. Then on to Florida for a few days.
 We picked about a gallon size bucket of tart cherries yesterday too. Pitting them takes so long, but I use them all winter. I hope everyone has a great week!

I just returned from the Doctors office....She changed my thyroid medicine again. Said I was to high on the T-3 and to low on the T-4. So we are playing with dosage again.
Getting ready to go to Key West for a few days in Augest and this weekedn we are going to Ft Lauderdale to see our friends.
It was raining to beat the band this morning now it is hot and beautiful.
My dishwasher died and now we are trying to order parts for it. I may end up with a new one!!!!!
Well on with the day.
I am glad Jamie got back to North CArolina ok.

well i have been working my butt off and i am again sore all over!!! day after tomorrow i get to finally see my new pcp!!! hopefully she will order some testing for me to see why my body hurts like it does!!!

weather here is cool once again and it feels good!!! we don't have to use electricity to get cool...thats good!!! about fainted when i saw our electric bill....$95 but not like some that have higher but still it is alot for us to have to pay. supposed to have storms all week according to the weather channel. have to see what happens i guess...

talked to mom saturday night after i got home from work and we had a nice chat and we had some good laughs!!! she said she hasn't laughed like that in so long and how she missed that with me. i told her she needs to come stay with us for awhile and she would laugh alot here with us!!! but nope she is afraid to come so far from home she said. sighs....

got another tooth bothering me when cold hits it...i sure don't want another root canal done!! i got some sensodyne toothpaste and so far it is helping good!!!

ricks leg has been bothering him all weekend...in fact it is all black and blue from where he said he had a charlie horse in it. makes me worry it is something else!!

got our food from angelfood ministries saturday that we ordered...we sure have alot of food from the 3 bundles we ordered!!! only paper goods and a few odds and ends is all we need to buy for weeks!!! anyone can order from them no income requirements just pay it forward if you can with the money you save buying from them or if you can't do that spread the word about them is all they ask of you. angelfoodministries.com

well its time for me to get ready for work so i must shut my trap now i rattled on long enough with nothing really important to say...i am sure i bored most of you to death with my ramblings... :-0 LOL

Hi George and my OFF family:

I'm on here really late today. Got home from my appointment with my psychologist. Not quite as teary as the last time, but a few tears as I remembered Margie a bit. But every day is a little better. I know she is in a better place now ... she no longer has diabetes or has to take massive amounts of drugs to keep from rejecting her kidney. The kidney transplant was a miracle that kept her alive, though. Please check your driver's licenses to be an organ donor. It saves lives.

While I was gone, my cleaning lady came in here and "defurred" the house ... in other words, she vacuumed. Boy, it needed it. Since the pay cut, I'm only having her come once a month. I really can't vacuum very well with my bad knees and back ... it just hurts too much. So having her come once a month and do the bathrooms, the floors and vacuuming helps a lot. I try not to be a too big of a pig otherwise (I am a slob, I know it!).  The place looks a lot nicer, at least for a day or two.

Well, back to work today. I have a long week, six days this week because I'm working an extra shift. My boss is spreading those around since we are all in need of extra money and he's in need of extra bodies. So I'm working Saturday. The OT will be nice.

George, glad the Rangers could finally beat the Twinkies. The Sox were horrible yesterday, but at least we didn't lose any ground to the Tigers and Twins. Still 1 1/2 games out from first.

Well, it's time for lunch. It's nice to have my old schedule back. Tonight, I work on the new system live for the first time, and at my new desk. Should be fun!
