leaving O H all together by this weekend

What I am about to tell you all makes me sad but I feel I have no choice. I am leaving this website all together. I can to the over 50 board when invited by Floyd from the Indiana board. At one of the clothing exchange he invited me and told me about this board because I never went anywhere outside of the Indiana board. I was leary to post on here because the women on the Indiana board made me avoid doing it on that board. I asked Brenda if she thought that I would have any problems if I posted on here. She said that she didn't know and that I should just try it so I did. The women who gave me problems on the Indiana board eventually found me here and started giving me trouble here too. Then I posted on the Indiana board that I was going to the clothing exchange they have every 3 months. I didn't go to the previous one because the women who gave me such a hard time forbid me to go or to even post on the Indiana board. When I posted that I was going to the exchange the hell started again. So since I was threatened I went ahead and went to prove a point. Then I "shopped" without the announcement being made because I was frightened as I had no one there that was on my side to be a witness if anything happened. Then when I got home I was again threatened by these women. I then decided that it just wasn't worth it! So I am going to leave this board also. It doesn't matter where I go on here they will eventually find me and make my life a living hell.
 So I hope that everyone on here has a lovely long life! Also I hope no one ever does this to anyone on this board. Please remember that the other person posting on here is a human and they have feelings, too. Again have a smooth journey in this thing called LIFE! Love you all Michelle

I have a few here and there that give me grief, but you know....I blocked them and what a difference. I am only said that they miss what I post and hope it's not something that they may need to know.....
Stay, just block them, don't give them the power to make you leave......we need you...

Michelle, please don't leave here.  Your problem was with folks on the Indiana board, so why leave OFF.  To me you are more of a fit on this board.  On that board, it is all people in Indiana.  Here it is all people around your age group, that have similar problems and triumphs.

Block those people.  Ignore them.  Or, report them.  Either way, don't let them run you off.

Hang around.  This board needs everyone.  Almost as much as everyone needs this board.

George and Darlene thanks for the kind words and trying to get me to stay but as I said before they followed me here before and will again. I am not blocking them because if I do they will get on here and say things that I can't see to be able to defend myself. If that happens then the people on the OFF board will think bad of me and then I will not be wanted here either. They came on here before and started saying hurtful things so I know they will again. Most of these women are over 50 and come here and read things but do not post. I live in Indiana and thought it would be great to post on that board and did for quiet some time without any problem. I said something that I thought would be took as a joke but wasn't and every since then they have given me grief and it has now gotten worse so I am going to leave. Since all of this has gone on I am eating because of my emotions not because I am hungry so if I leave where they don't have the capability to get to me then I will start losing weight again.
 I have reported them numerous times and they did nothing so it won't do any good to report them again. They will just tell me to block them which I will not do for the reason stated above. They forbid me to post on there even though it is not up to them. These few women have everyone behind them and have convinced others that I am a horrible person. They have convinced everyone that I am the one who sent these nasty personal messages to someone I would never say anything bad about. They started a group on there that these women run and I am sure that they get on there and talk about others including myself. I just hope that they do not do this to anyone else that isn't as strong as me because they might actually commit suicide because of it. Nothing you can do will change my mind.

Michelle,I have no idea what is going on,has anyone physically threatened you? If they have this is a matter for the authorities.

and if floyd suggeste dytou come here then you must be an ok person cuz floyd is super!!!!

we will form our own opinions-and have-at least i have--you have done nothing to harm any of us on OFF or upset us and if you have we will either say so or ignore it and move on to the next post--
you are dealing with insecurities on your part that i wish we could abolish..all i can do is offer my ear and my hugs and prayers...we all have our demons and on this board we try to share them to see if the strength in number shelps..i believe that you are a valid part of this group and the heck with these other trouble makers- each board has some...heck i've been known to be one!!!!

i haven't noticed anyone giving you trouble openly on the boards so i think that you truly need to block them and to hell with whatever they may say about you that you cannot see.... the rest of the world will see them for what they are eventually...trust me on this one!!!!

if you wish to leave that is your doing..i do not believe that you do...and i agree with the others that you are needed here as much as you need us...(not sure that came out right! it's still very early!!!).at least check in by pm to let  us know how you are.....

i think you should block them and i think you should go on living and posting on OFF...however, my opinion and a quarter won't get you a cuppa coffee...
i'll be sorry to see you go....

this all does not make much sense to me and i will be sorry if you go.

i do not understans people being hateful in the way you are describing.

however, if they chase you away they will have won, so reconsider
this leaving bit.

they can only hurt you if you allow them to, if you ignore them and stay
with us they you will have won, so to speak.

Michelle, when you pm'd me the other day I totally forgot about blocking them. I agree and you should try doing that before totally leaving us. You are a valued part of our OFF family and heck...who cares what they say anyway. Like my Mom use to say...if you talk about me you are talking about you betters and she said if you talk about me you are leaving some other poor old soul alone. I now know that she was right on both counts. But then again Mom's usually are aren't they?

If you leave here they will have won and then can go along and gloat about it. If you stay on and ignore them (like they should be) you will have won the battle....

All we are asking is just think about it and stay and lurk a bit if you want to...but I am such a fighter I would post just to get their goats....but that is me...tell me I have to do something and I am going to fight tooth and nail to prove to you I am NOT going to do it!!!! I guess my parents were right..I am stubborn!

But to me it doesn't sound like you really want to leave us...so why do it?

The choice is yours but I do want to say to you...chin up and don't let some people get to you.

On OFF we are all over 50, way past that "junior high stage" of griping about other people, and yep, mean people suck big-time.
Don't give these women any control over you. People that have something bad to say about someone, tearing them down to build themselves up get no where in my book.

We all put our pants on one leg at a time, no one is better than anyone else and if we think we are perfect...well...perfect people are boring!!

Hang in there, stop stress eating over this. Don't let someone else's behavior cause you to put something in your mouth that you don't want to begin with.
Time to de-stress yourself.

I really don't know what happened at the Indiana forum but if I were you I wouldn't let some other omen bully me off a public forum.  This is a public place, they cannot forbid you from posting anywhere.  Now, if you are posting obscene or offense comments then I could see them having an issue but from what you said you've done nothing like that so you should have nothing to worry about.

Block them, don't worry if they tell stories....I think if they came here and started a thread to bash you that the folks here on OFF would realize it and not play along with them.  I find if you ignore people they leave you alone.  It's only because you are fueling their fire that they keep doing this.  Block them, ignore them and live your life the way you want to. 

If you want to stay on OFF and share with us then you should.   Just my 2 cents........
