so-yesterday, a woman called about our house- cool! here's the kicker- i had wanted to have our for sale sign up by the 4th of july and didn't make it...she was in town over the 4th visiting her sister-and now she is back home-in new jersey!!!!!!!!!!- calling about the house cuz she is trying to move here.... she asked about the taxes...she'll be coming back in a few weeks and wants to see it then..cool... ok folks--lindsey ohio is not a hot "destination" to move to --unless you have family and/or a job so.....i'm holding more stock in the single guy...however i will keep an open mind.....
not much esle new in my life.........we had some thunder and wind and i guess rain last nite.....

Well, the recovery party is over, back to work today. Ready or not, here I come!
So, now you have two prospects for your house, that's pretty good in this day and age, and should be encouraging for you.
I get to take the dressings off my incisions tomorrow and it can't come too soon. The adheasive is starting to itch like crazy. Not the wound healing itch, the skin around the bandages. I've done pretty well with my weight through all of this, just lost 2 lbs, which isn't bad at all considering I lost about 10 last year with the other surgery.
Okay, off to get ready for the day. Hope everyone has a wonderful one and is happy and healthy!

Yeah, what was I thinking?
Most of my clients today are nails, well maybe half, so I will be sitting quite a bit, but it's the hair clients that I'm concerned about. That, and of course I didn't schedule enough time to eat, considering I'll be moving a bit slower than full speed ahead as I usually do.
Life of the self employed. It's not alwasy what it's cracked up to be. There's a saying; the only thing more overrated than self employment is natural childbirth! Yup

Good morning OFF gang,
Started my day of with a bang, going to spin class at 0545, did the whole hour and my legs feel it.
Plan on going for a walk with Juli during break-time/lunch time. Juli will be having RNY around early Dec. we think. She has all ready embrace the lifestyle change.
It's hump day and now I gotta get back to work.

Nothing much happening here. I am in such a funk all this week...very hard to get motivated to do anything. I hope it passes on soon!!
Temps are in the 50s this AM...high of 72 today. This cooler weather we have been having is not for me. I NEED the sunshine and heat!!
Spoke with Nic last night. They get to leave for home (at St Jude's now) this afternoon instead of Friday. He is so happy. He said he is getting in his car and not getting out for days!!

Wow....so many having physical problems right now. I feel for each and every one of you, and hope that before long the news is GOOD! I, too,a m struggling with something that keeps me feeling strangely weak and dizzy. This morning I am going to work all day and sure hope I can hang in there. I forced down half a protein bar and a handful of vitamins....but my appetite just isn't there.
It has been HOT here, too.....not like the 100's some of you are having in the NW and the humidity in the South....but I wake up in the morning wet from sweat, and finally turned on the A/C this mornng after my shower so I could at least leave feeling fresh.
Brenda...I am so glad you finally got to the right medical professional. I just wish you didn't have to go through such an ordeal to get your health back. You are such a trooper and complain so little about your ordeal.........amazing woman!
Judy...glad to hear that Bandit is on the mend. He sounds like such a little lovebug and I know that your love will get him healthy faster.
Annette......my dear one........loopy inside, eh? That's a new one on me, and made me chuckle because I feel loopy all over!! I think it's part of this crazy WLS journey.
Margo......keeping fingers, toes, eyes crossed for your getting a buyer for your house. You have quite an adventure ahead of you. There was something in the Maui News yesterday about a new "fish farm" off the Big Island that sounded very interesting. You might check it out.
I know I've missed some of you that touched my heart this morning.....so forgive me. Just know that I love you all and wish for you only the very best....always.
Now....I'm off to work. Deep breathing........thinking positive.....blowing out the stress, deeply breathing in the health!
