What's new to review on Friday!!!!!

Well it is 19 minutes to go till midnight and I am waiting to go on the American Express site to book 2 tickets. One to Denver on Augest 14th and the other one I cant say yet.
Want to know what is making me happy.    LIFE that is what!!!!!!
Glad to be living in my new body rather than my old one!!!!!
I walked out of Angels and Demons with Tom Hanks. Just couldnt get into it. So while CArl was watching it I was roaming the mall. Dillards is closing 2 stores in our area so bargains to be had. I didnt even buy anything!!!!!

Yeah, my brother Gary didn't like Angels and Demons either, and he loved the book. I figure I'll wait til it comes out on cable.

Lots of work tonight, but fairly easy. I'm getting used to the new system. Love our new computers and the system doesn't crash as much, so that's good. Sports starts working on it next week. Today was the United Way kickoff, so we got free sandwiches and other goodies to entice us to donate. Ate the sandwich and other stuff, but didn't donate. What with the pay cut, me still in bankruptcy, can't donate (and bankruptcy lawyer says I shouldn't donate while in bankruptcy, so that was something I gave up four years ago).

Just got done watching the White Sox-Yankees game; Sox won, 3-2, but blew it in the ninth and then came back to win it in the bottom of the ninth. I got home as the game was ending, bu****ched it on DVR. Today's the trading deadline for baseball fans; already lots of big deals (don't think the Sox will make any).

Well, off to bed ... where are you going, Carla? Talk to me. Haven't heard from you in awhile.

I think the Rangers will make a deal.  Don't know for who, but Halliday is still a possibility.

Tigers just picked up Jarrod Washburn. That wraps up the AL Central. The Sox aren't making any moves, or at least none right now.

Good morning all.  Busy night.  Not real busy, but had to do my work in 4 hours because I took half a shift off.  Went to the Rangers game and thoroughly enjoyed myself.  A great game pitched by Derek Holland.  Who may be traded today.

Mary has her three year appt today with Dr Matin.  I am going with her on no sleep.  Just enjoy visiting with him any way.  The appt is 8:30, will go home and get some sleep after that.

Sounds like someone is getting a surprise visit.

Morning all....
I'm up and at 'em.....time to get my breakfast soon and take more pills.

Cleaning angel comes today -- hurrah!   Washing a load of towels and
that's about it.   

My foot hurt pretty bad yesterday -- the neurotin only lasts about 3 hours and then the foot starts in again.  

Talked to my co-worker yesterday and she was upset that I had been driving the car......gosh, I've gotta start sometime.     She wouldn't tell me how much work is piled up for me, but it is what it is......so I'm not going to get stressed.

Hi Pat,
Can you talk to your doctor about being in pain and that the med only last about 3 hours.
Hopefully they can add another med for you for your pain.  Something for "break thru pain".
Doc's need to know that pain meds don't stick with us like "normal folk" since we had WLS.

Take care of yourself, don't do too much laundry...have that waiting for me this weekend!

Good morning to you, Carla and my OFF family. I hope that this great day of FRIDAY is good for everyone. I know that mine is going to be somewhat busy but that isn't bad for me now if you ask me.

I am sending love and hugs to Laureen and Dillinger for her trip to the Dillinger doctor. I know how hard these times are and you want to do what is best for your furbaby...I am keeping you in special prayers for your decision today. It is not easy to go through.

Bill goes to his doctor this morning. His insurance is changing tomorrow and he needs to get some prescriptions changed for some others that is on their list and not on the others. I hate it when the insurance changes...nothing but mess if you ask me. I hope that it is a better insurance change. It is going to Allstate so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

We decided to get a storage unit and we are doing that today. I have so much crap around here and no where to really put it so that is the answer for me right now. I can always get rid of the stuff while it is the storage...and ultimately just add more crap to take it's place. That is me for sure!!! Where there is junk there is Brenda gathering it up to take it home...at least that is what it seems like and that is what Bill usually tells me. ha ha

I didn't get to the library yesterday so I have to go today. It is the last day for me to get the slips of book reviews in for the summer reading program. I have a lot of books in there this year...most of the time I forget about it and by chance I fell into it this year. I must have about 10-15 of them in so I have a better chance of winning something. I know they are giving away a few gas cards and one for Kohl's. I would take anything...free money if you ask me. I like that since I would have to be nuts not to. ha ha

I guess I should get going. I have some things to do before I have to get ready to go to the doctor with Bill. He likes for me to go with him to catch the things that he misses and to remember what he forgets. See a wife comes in handy for some things!
