What's new Thursday?
Yesterday I made some calls and a trip to the bank to prepare for our move. I called the retirement center to change my address so my deposit stub would come to me at the new address. They wouldn't do it until I move, and they told me it may effect my health care. I had planned on keeping my doctors down here, because I love them and have all the faith in the world in them. They said that HAP isn't accepted in my new zip code area so I'll have to change. I REALLY DON'T WANNA. I don't mind driving 4 hours to a great doctor, and I've had him for probably 25 years. It's really tough. My Mom had a good Dr. in Traverse City, Dr. Waarnar, but I imagine he's getting up there in years and won't be practicing much longer. I just hate to have to make the change.
Took the old dog Emma for a walk this morning and added another block to our walk. It really tuckered her out. I felt fine, so I'm making progress.
Good day to all.

Good morning OFFers-
Today we go thru the pre-design center check list. Our appointment at the design center to choose colors of tile, carpet, cupboards, etc. is getting closer...next Monday.
It's raining this morning and you can almost hear the dry earth opening its cavernous dry mouth and sing.
Things are coming along okay.
Yesterday I called around and lined up doctor appointments with an internist and a few others. That was not so much fun. New doctors, new city, new streets, but most of all not being comfortable about dealing with new docs. I went to my internist in CO for 22 years! I will miss her dearly. Well, I must keep a positive attitude and get on with it, eh?
Last evening we went to the pool to join in water games. My mended rotator cuff didn't help my aim much as I couldn't throw anything straight. However, I think I managed quite well playing water volleyball with a bum shoulder and mended knee. Lots of fun. Quite stiff this morning but that too shall pass. I look forward to playing again next week.
Well, must get back to the mountain of boxes and newspaper.
Hope y'all have a great day.
Cheers,
Daffodil Rusty

Morning to you, Eileen and my OFF family. Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday, Eileen but I had a total day from hell. Nothing short of it either.
Bill woke me up before 6 yesterday morning and had bad chest pain and he couldn't breathe. I took him to the hospital because he told me he didn't want an ambulance. I figured if it got bad I could stop at the fire department that isn't far from here and we go right past it. He was fine. We ended up staying in the E.R....better known to me as the DEEP FREEZER...until 2:15 when they got a room for him. He had inhaled bleach fumes at work on Tuesday night and this whole thing is caused from that. The said that was like when a person is going to cross into pneumonia. He was fine until he did the bleach fumes and so they are going to that. I called his boss and she was doing some fancy dancing to get out of **** Of course. Then she told me that she would call the field manager and see if he thought it was a workman's comp thing. Now..excuse me but I don't think the field manager is a doctor! He might think he is (he is so full of himself) but I think he is a field manager with ABM and not a doctor. I talked to Ella my bff and she was telling me how to go about this whole thing since she was a union rep and now she is a boss. She gave me a lot of info and I am grateful. Bill is doing good....they are learning that he has a vast hole where his stomach is suppose to be and eats all the time. ha ha I am glad that he has his appetite..when he is real sick he doesn't. I know that he isn't feeling good but at least he is not sick...if you know what I mean. It is just a pain in the ass...I think that we are taking a step ahead and then we take a gazillion steps back. I am just going to take it a day at a time and I know that it is going to be alright.
I have to call Bill and see how it is going. I hope to get some things done around here today. I still have a ton of papers to go through for the church office that I hold and will hopefully be getting rid of at the end of the year. A lot of how much it gets done depends on how things are going with Bill. If he comes home I might get some more done than if he is in the hospital. They said yesterday he might come home or he might not. Nothing like being wrong with them. Either way they are making sure they are right. ha ha
Misty misses her daddy so bad. She just keeps walking around talking and then she just hides. Not sure what her problem is since she doesn't act like this when I am gone. HUH! I think she is a traitor!!! Oh well..no one has any alliance anymore...not even Misty.
I better go. Gotta do some phone calling before seeing Bill. I hope that you all have a great day and know that I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are being said for everyone too. Don't forget to scatter..and make sure you look at my ticker too...a change! For the better I might add!

Getting the "new used" travel trailer ready for our trip to Muskegan, staying at the State Park and going to Michigan Adventure on Saturday with the grandkids.
Stocked the trailer with all the dish soap, groceries and made the bed with the added egg crate for comfort. Rozi and Remi just sat in the trailer "helping me" while I was cleaning and bringing out clothes and towels.
They are so excited about going to the water park!
Who needs Disney Land when we can have fun around home areas.
Everyone have a great day, I think I'll go for a bike ride tonight after work or else I do need to mow our lawn, we have 2 riding lawn mowers and it takes hubby and I 1.5 hours to do it when we work together....oh well, so much for the bike ride, think I better mow the lawn! LOL

I love PJ Hoffmaster too, but there is a Muskegon State Park too, on the north side of Muskegon while Hoffmaster is to the south. We used to camp all the time and picked different parks to try, private or state, it didn't matter. We traveled with a group of usually 9 families. Such fond memories!
