NOW IF I CAN ONLY "REMEMBER" TO TAKE THE DARN PILLS....GRRRRRR
THANKS FOR READING !! :-)
I know what you're saying about taking the pills. I think I forget on purpose because I don't like the chewable calcium. I remember the vitamins and B-12, but don't always (rarely) get in all the calcium I need a day. I'd be much better off taking the big tablets cut in half. I wonder if I can start that now?

I'm trying different things with the crystals but my friend JeriW told me about the one she uses... www.bluebonnetnutrition.com/product/124/Liquid_Calcium_Magne sium_Citrate_Plus_Vitamin_D3
She said she just takes it by the spoonful!

Jan, Seriously. . .as one who has tried and rejected many forms of calcium citrate: the calcium crystals from Bariatrics Advantage are better than any I've found so far. I can taste "chalk" in almost anything but not in this. Twice a day in a shake or crystal light no problem. I got the unflavored crystals. I just wasn't convinced that I was breaking down that big pill and absorbing it.

jan i have never been a pill swallower and when i had to take about 15 pills a day i started to gag....so i asked my wls if it was ok for me to take the OPTISOURCE post bariatric surgery formula vitamins and they said yes i could...along with my citracal with vit D and i am also taking the folic and sublingual vit B and so i chew 4 of the opti vitamins and swallow the others...the vit B i put under my tongue and luckliy my labs are on the rise again but i did have to increase my vit d. so i am now taking 5000 iu every day. i absolutly HATE taking all the pills and i guess i will always "forget" sometimes to take them....not a good idea either but its just me....sighs....
Looks great, but you need to get your vitamin D level going up as it will continue to drop. How much D are you taking? Mine got down to 9 by 6 months out and it took me a long time to crawl out of that hole. If your D is low you will not absorb calcium as well as the two are closely linked. I now take 50, 000 of dry D every day and mine 3 weeks ago was 62.
