Well Jani, it's something that Dr. Gott has written about in his column.....maybe you don't get him in your paper.   Anyway, ppl who have RLS put a bar of regular soap (not carress or dove) under the bottom sheet of their bed and it is supposed to relieve RLS.....seems like it works for many ppl and no one knows exactly why....

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!  LOL

I've always had RLS but just ignored it.  They didn't have a name for it back then.  I'm used to it and so is Gary, so I guess I don't need to try the soap.  Hope it works for you!

It's raining here again, good for my garden.

Went to Pilate's class at 0545, afterward felt like a wet noodle, who knew Pilate's kicks butt???
Tomorrow it's spin class in the AM.

Having family over on Saturday after Amanda and Russ's wedding reception celebration. They got married at the bridge on St. Ignace side in May and are now having their party. More like family reunions on both sides.

Planning on walking the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day, I love doing that. Hopefully we will have good weather. Remember one year I was one of the last walkers over then they closed the bridge due to high winds and you could feel the bridge swaying when we were walking over.

I love going up north and to the UP, it's so beautiful there. More slow paced, relaxing and the scenery ever changing.

Everything is okay with me. I see my WL surgeon today for my two year check up. I am hoping all goes well.
I can't believe it will be two years on Saturday. Wow what a wonderful life!!

I best get back to work. I only wor****il noon and am then off until Monday...wooohoooo!! Love these four day work weeks!!

Well, another cold damp day here in Michigan.  I wish I hadn't packed all my warm weather clothes and moved them up north already.  Doing laundry today before hubby takes the washer to my DS house and the Dryer to the church.  We'll just have to live with what we have that's clean for the next week (shouldn't be a problem).
The final walk-through of the house is Monday at 10:00.  I hope they don't find anything wrong.  We're down to mostly everyday living things to pack.  Some knick knacks, candles, pictures on the walls, throw rugs. shredder, scale, waste baskets and various misc stuffs.  This is the worst to pack.
Margo, Michael and Gary sound a lot alike.  They just can't let things go and have to rehash everything.  Gary is still mad at the economy for us having to take such a beating on the sale of our house.  I just keep saying "LET IT GO"  I'm wasting my breath on him!
How nice for you Carla that you've got a talent you can fall back and do.  I'd have to go into retail because I don't want to go back into payroll or HR in an office setting.  Retail was fun when I did it years and years ago.  We'll just wait and see what happens up north.  Glad you're feeling better.

morning carla and OFF family...well i got my hair cut yesterday and its a layered bob she called it...said it would give me some lift all over so i hope she is right!!! i hated the flat head!!! rick said it looks good so we shall see how it looks after i do it myself....

its a cool rain and off morning here...supposed to rain for about a week here...just better be nice for the 5th when we are planning on the fair!!!!

rick had his interview and testing yesterday and was told they would let him know monday if he got the job or not. i hope he gets it!! keeping fingers crossed and praying also!!!

working today 1-9 and i am sure its going to be a SLOW day...just a feeling i have is all.

carla you sure do get around!!! glad you had the chance to meet more OFF'ers!! so much fun to met the people we chat with everyday!!!

margo i know how you must feel giving brody up...atleast he is back where he is loved!!!

have to find some thread and a needle to sew the hole in my pants...just happened out of nowhere and its getting bigger...not sure why this hole started because its in a weird area to get this hole...sighs...hopefully i can sew it so it doesn't look to bad!!! trust me...i am not a good sewer so its hard to say if this will look good or not when i am through!!! LOL

 I have Doc Appt later this Afternoon. Pelvic Ultra-sound for some cyst problems not
looking forward to drinking the 32 oz. of water & holding it till after the darn test. But
gotta do what they want. Must have a full bladder for the ultra-sound.
My Friend got home from the Hospital on Sunday that had been in for 2 weeks & I
had to call 911 on her on Tuesday night. Had fallen several times & could not get her
up on my own. She is back in the hospital & mad at me, but, probably saved her life.
She is at our hospital & not in Vegas so will go up & see what is happening with her today. The EMT's took one look at her upon arrival & said she was going.
I know I did the right thing for her,  she is alive today & I think she might have died if I
had not called. Her Liver was shutting down.
It's back to being hot again. So much for the cool spot. 110 yesterday & probably 120
by Saturday. Oh Well, it's still summer. All in a day of  the AZ Desert.
