I had an idea...
... but it died from lonliness
Anyhoo...
I love those frozen ice pops... the ones that come in those long plastic tubes and you cut the end off and squeeze to get the ice to come out... Love them!
Probably not too good for me though.... but maybe not that bad... not sure really..
I started searching the internet for "ftozen ice pops" and there are lots of molds available to make ice pops... but just the kind with popsicle sticks, not the plastic tubes... but if I could make them myself out of .... lessee... crystal lite or fruit juice or something healthy I would be better off and save money too.
I would have to at least come close to one of the flavors of the ice pops I buy now....
Any ideas?

I buy the pops from Schwan's home delivery. They are 15 calories each... spendy but oh sooo good. I love to eat them after a meal, especially if the food doesn't set well.
Look for popsicle recipes online. Some of them have glycerine water added to give the consistency of a popsicle rather than flavored ice.
Look in the thermos/ water container area of a sporting good store for long narrow ice cube trays.
Good luck......

I would fill the snack size zip lock bags and then cut the end on an angle when you are going to eat them.
Remember tho, those ice sticks you like don't really freeze solid like an ice cube.......you have to mess with the recipe you don't just end up with crystal lite ice cubes......know what I mean?? Not sure how you make them sort of a solid-ish slush....GOOD LUCK!

My boys had the same idea for me for right after surgery. They wanted me to put my protein water in an icecube tray. Then they saw my protein shots and thought - why not just put a stick down the middle and suck that back!
When they were babies we had pop cycle making kits - I think I got some from tupperware - you know those fun burping lid parties. Or check on-line for kits. Be sure to look for BPA free.

If you water back the protein shots and toss some crystal lite for added taste you will have your protein fix and your ice/sweet fix.
To get that frozen popsicles thing going - try the small size zip lock bags - they make them in half sizes.
Go for it.....
