I'm up and going out to Wal Mart in a few to pick up some things
Ok, Annette, we all know you don't fly --- did I miss something??? Where are you flying to?????
Have Ladies circle meeting at 1:00 and that's about it for today. My DS and DIL are headed to Cheboygan, MI for the Labor Day Weekend with several other couples from the Centreville MI area....it's a yearly event - they take their bicycles and ride all over the area. Guess I will just be at home --
Got my freezer all defrosted and everything put back in....
Have two new zucchini recipes to try this weekend -- zucchini pancakes and zucchini soup....

Good morning to you, Eileen and my OFFer's. I hope that this Thursday is great for you all.
Bill goes back to work today and part of him is glad and the other isn't. I guess that is normal. After being off for 3 weeks who would want to go back? ha ha He is waiting for a call on when he goes...the operations manager said that he is thinking of changing his hours. I think that he will might want him to go in a noon. The day that he went into the hospital there was a message that he wanted him to go in at noon. The other guy who works in the morning is off today and tomorrow. So everything is ready for him to be off....and let me tell ya...it won't be a minute to long either. I am ready for him to go....
Kayden went to the doctor and he is on Amoxicillin and so Grandma was right...but then again I already knew that. He is yelling right now because he is hungry...but at least he had his medicine already so that is good. Shawn asked me to watch him Friday night because yesterday was DIL's birthday and he wants to take her to dinner on Friday night. I told him that was fine. So I am going to have him for a long time tomorrow. Oh dear...I am tired with a normal day I will want to sleep all day Saturday.
I went to the doctor yesterday and she thinks that the headaches is from the allergies. I know that they have really kicked my butt this year. She said that her husband is having a hard time with his too. I think I am on medication that will finally work and so I will just wait for the frost....that will be a day of celebration for a lot of people. Other than that everything is going well. She thinks the light headedness that I am having that was making me fall and unsteady is from the blood pressure medication that I take for the Cardiomyopathy. The blood pressure medicine is what makes the heart stronger. And with that it is just lowering the blood pressure and so it goes round and round.
I love Bookworm too. I can play it for hours at a time. I love the word games the best. But another one of my favorites is Poppit. Where you pop the balloons that are all a same color. I love that one too. My favorite game spot is Pogo. I am not a member but you get a lot of free games....you just have to put up with a ad every once in a while.
I better get going. I have some things to do and need to get doing them. I have to go to the library today...yes! I didn't get there yesterday either. I am beginning to wonder if I am ever going to get there. ha ha
I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are being said for everyone too. Have a super great day and just think....tomorrow is Friday!!!!! And to kick that one up another notch....a long week end too! How can you beat that one...except if today is Friday. Don't forget to spread the joy around to others.

Well started the day off oversleeping but made it on time to work. slept in til 0630, that's very unusual for me, I usually wake up on my own by 0500 at the latest.
Leaving today for Mackinac. I'm so excited. Walking the bridge this year again and doing some bike riding. BF Deb is riding in the Dalmac so she is leaving from Lansing and riding all the way up to Mackinac. We will hook up on Sunday. She wanted me to do the ride with her but my bike is not that good but one of these years I'll do the ride with her. (yeah..right!!) I hate tent camping so I don't think I would enjoy that part. I like a bed. Okay I'm spoiled.

Today, it's absolutely beautiful outside. I went to have my blood work at 7:30 a.m., and didn't feel like coming back home to work. I love this weather. I'm a little chilly in the house, so I put on a light jacket to help keep me warm.
Can't wait until another week where I can have some pureed foods and able to mop up my kitchen floor. DH was such a disappointment through this. He hasn't helped much at all. That's okay 'cause I am woman, hear me ROAR! LOL -

Sorry to hear Hubby isn't helping like you wanted. Sometimes we have unspoken expectations of others.... I did.
One of the gals at support meetings said her hubby didn't support her then found out he missed his eating buddy. He was not fat but he did like to eat and she no longer cooked like she use to or ate out like before.
I have quite a few friends and family that cater to my food needs. I keep telling them to cook the way they want and what they want; I will take care of myself.
Hang in there it will get better......

Hope you feel better after a good night's sleep. I'm going to the library today to get a card. I want to check out some books on CD to listen to on my drive to Dallas next week. Five hours each way so I will need something to keep me occupied. Hopefully I can find something riveting!
Not much going on today. I think I really will mow the back yard today. It needs it and it's going to rain all weekend, so Gary won't have a chance to do it. His back has been bothering him, so I might as well help him out.
He called me yesterday to as me to look at a link on the computer of a puppy that's up for adoption.He barely had the "y" out of his mouth before I said a resounding NO!!! I've had two puppies and I just can't do another one, especially so soon. After all, Sherlock has only been gone a week today. I did tell him I would consider adopting a rescue dog after the first of the year. Gave him some hope, me some time.

I'm hooked on books on tape / CD. I love to read but feel guilty not getting "stuff" done when I have a book in hand. My compromise: books on tape. I pop one in and sit in my sewing room. I can get more sewing done while engrossed in the books. Of course there are times I have seams to rip out... paying more attention to the story.
When we take a trip by car we always have a book to listen to. Makes the endless miles of "nothingness" go faster. I love the mystery and suspense books.

I suggest a Janet Evanovich book. The first audio book I ever listened to was her Metro Girl, and I laughed so hard I almost had to pull off the road. She's a riot!
Those audio books have kept me alert many a late night driving home after a 16 hour shift at work. Much better than the radio or CD's.

Candy, thanks for the suggestion. I went to the library today in our little town, and they had a surprisingly good selection of audio books. I got Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day, which we saw just a couple of weeks ago and loved, then, an Indiana Jones, for the action, and Deception Point by Dan Brown. I read the book a month or so ago and really enjoyed it. Even though I've read the book or saw the movie they will be fun. I only need a total of about 10-11 hours and these total much more than that, but if one isn't cuttin' the mustard, then I'll pop another one in.
I still have time to get the Evanovich. Might.....just in case!

Today is my Friday. I do before/after school for the single parent guy upstairs. It helps out with the $$
She is fairly easy to care for; spoiled but hey, still a good kid. This is day two of school and it was easy getting her up. Actually, she got up herself, had breakfast and now is in front of the wii. She is doing a Cranium program so I don't feel bad about being on the TV... she is learning as she plays.
My DIL decided to home school her son this year. He is behind his grade level and she is concerned about his schooling. She is a teacher so it is up her alley to teach. I think she will do quite well with it. The home school support system is quite extensive here.
After the school bus comes I head out to get my Vit B12 shot and do some grocery shopping. I want to get myself back on track with healthy eating. sigh.... always .....
