  We are finally getting the house back to gether and I am going to see mom while hubby works   nothing exciting!   have a great day everyone.

Well, good morning to you, Carla and my OFFer's. I hope that everyone who is traveling has a safe and good trip. Make sure you have a good time..I know it will be hard but give it the old OFF try! ha ha

Bill is up to go to work. He is now working 10-6:30 instead of the planned 8-4:30. I guess the worker that is working afternoons needs help or some such crap. It is always something with this company and most of the time you can't believe anything the OM says so why bother. Just thinking out loud.

Kayden is here. I got a call from DS last night and said that someone is coming to visit tomorrow and Carol needs to clean the house. I was told that Kayden won't let her do it so they were wondering if I could watch him. He is now yelling...not sure if it is because he is hungry or just wants picked up. Ohhh!!! He is quiet now. Good! Oops...didn't last long. ha ha

I have to take my neighbor to the hospital down the road to get a mammogram this morning. I am so glad when that is over and done with. I am not looking forward to it all. She is 91 and just full of excess energy. She sometimes just gets me tired talking to her. She just jumps from one thing to another. And when you are saying something she has a habit of interrupting and starting on another subject.

I better go..he is really wound up now. I guess he must be hungry. I am sending love and hugs to all. Traveling mercies for all the travelers and a big Happy Birthday to Janet. Prayers are being said for everyone. Don't forget to smile and bring joy and happiness to others. They might not have any other happiness today than your smiles.

I was also awake at 2 a.m., so I decided to work for a couple of hours.  I laid back down at 5 a.m. and up again at 7:30, back to work - lol

I need to get myself back on track with practicing my piano lessons.  I haven't practiced nor played the piano since preop, so it's back to lessons tomorrow and hopefully a really long practice today.  I sat down once to play when I was recuperating and couldn't get the rhythm, so I got discouraged and stopped.  Time, now, to face the music - after all, practice makes perfect - lol

Good morning gang,

Started my day off with a "bang"...had some frosted mini wheat's which I've had many times before with no problems.
Ooops...it was the end of the box so more sugar in it. Dang...the pouch is in control and I dumped. I haven't dumped in well over 18 mths. So it's rest the pouch today here at work today. I'm feeling much better and even made it to work on time.

I will work out in the pool with Juli today after work. She will be having surgery in December. We have been working out together for 6 months, she has gone from a size 24 down to an 18 and is doing everything right for her. I'm so proud of her, she is going to be way ahead of the game before she even has surgery. Juli hurt her foot and has a "boot" thingy on, so we will work with weights and bands in the pool and do some stretching/yoga moves in the pool.

You are quite the traveler.... I love to travel.  Getting together with friends is so much fun;  sounds like a great time for all of you.

Today is just another day in the life and times of Millie.....  Princess will be up soon then off to school.  My sister will be coming by today, bringing an old friend from ages ago.  They will visit with Mom for a while.  My sister will spend the night, tomorrow is her birthday.  Not sure what she will want to do for that.

I made previous arrangements to go with my DIL to the state fair.  We'll take the two boys and go through the exhibits.  This will be part of their home schooling program.   Next week they will go again and go on the rides.  I had one of the best times last year taking my youngest grandson on the rides.  Such joy in simple pleasures.  He still talks about the rides.

I've also decided to let the girl I care for make her own Halloween costume.  I have plenty of left over fabric and it will be easy to make a costume.  She is soooo interested in sewing.

well yesterday rick was in big time pain with his pinched nerve in his leg...affects his back also...been a long time since he has been in this pain and he is walking hunched over like a 90 year old man....i feel so bad he is hurting...i massaged his back and leg very carefully and gave him a tylenol 3 and he said it helped some but he still hurts.

talked to my brother last night and he said the dr's in saginaw va will not touch him anymore because of the stroke so he has to go to ann arbor for his care now. he said he could sue the dr for not telling him to take aspirin when he was first taken in to the hospital. not sure what he will do yet. he goes to ann arbor in october. he also said he can see a little bit better in the bad eye. he can make out some colors so thats good. he said to tell you all THANKYOU for the prayers and good wishes.

i work today 1-9 and not really looking forward to that. why i have no idea. just don't feel like going to work i guess but we need the money so i have to go.

did i mention that i colored my hair? it was supposed to be a dark mahogany brown but it sure looks almost black to me...lol i like it and rick says it looks good. have gotten alot of compliments on it too. atleast now when i look in the mirror i don't see my sister looking back at me...

i finally got my rose bush dug up and planted here with me...yes i said one rose bush...seems someone dug up the other 3 and threw them away because they looked dead!!!! i am pissed beyond pissed about that!! they KNEW what those rose bushes meant to me and yet they tossed them away!!!! i ever find out it was ricks step dad he is going to see what rath i can give him thats for sure!! his mom thinks it was the renters...yeah right!! why would they mess with the flowers that didn't belong to them??? i am sure it was jerry that did this!!! he has destroyed alot of her flowers and now mine!!! he has done nothing but quit or get fired from jobs and is now out of work and says he is looking for a job but we don't believe that one bit....he has told employers he wouldn't work in their place and the language he uses its no wonder he gets fired and can't find a job!!! the man is nuts and needs help big time!!! ricks mom keeps saying she is going to leave him but she has said this for years and years...she loves the drama to much to leave him. ok i will stop with the blah blah blah now as i am sure you are tired of reading it anyways.

when i had bandit out this morning guess what i saw!!!???? a deer!! first time i saw one here at the apartment complex!!! it was a huge doe and she was looking at me and then scooted off to safety. we have a ton of geese around here and several hawks...oh don't worry i keep bandit on a short leash when we see the hawks around!!! i miss seeing the deer and babies at ricks moms but i sure don't miss living there at all!!!! we have to sign a new lease here soon...before the end of the month in fact...they raised our rent $30 a month too and it ****** me off!!! i have taken pictures of the lopsided grills and the broken picnic table (which has been taken away now)and there are no others around to use either!! and the pot holes and the sink hole right where we have to park...so i am going to blast them with all this and see what happens on the increase...probably not gonna get us anywhere but atleast i tried!!! we have looked for a different place to move to but its only a few bucks difference and with the cost of moving and all we might as well stay here....we do like it here but we don't like the climbing up and down the stairs all the time...living on the bottom is more expensive also...so we are stuck in between a rock and a hard place...ricks mom said we could move back there but HELL NO WE ARE NOT DOING THAT!!!!!!

well its time to shower and get ready for work so will get out of here...those that are going to texas have fun and wish janet a happy birthday for me...congrats to those that are getting WLS and congrats to those that just had it!!! to the newbies...welcome!!!!! again i apologize for not responding to your posts but this old pc of ricks is so SLOW it makes me mad!!

Judy I am so glad to hear your brother is doing better. It just horrified me to hear how he was treated in that first hospital. I can't picture you with dark hair, you will have to let us see it. I know what you mean about the rent going up. Mine went up $25 a month in the last 2 years and now Omaha has raised the propery taxes, it comes out to $15 a year for a $100,000 home. I have no idea what my duplex is worth, but you watch, he will raise the rent at least another $25 a month and blame the taxes, it just makes me sick in the pit of my stomach. There is some kind of work being done by the city that is federally mandated and it is going to triple our sewer payments monthly. I love my house and yard, but I can see in the not to far future having to move into some cracker box apartment because I can no longer afford where I am..

jean i wish i could psot a photo of me with this dark hair but ricks pc is so slow i am not sure i can do it...grrrr

i know what you mean on the taxes and rent going up...makes me boil!!!! if they did repairs around here it would be different but nope they seems to sit around and party all day long in the office or each others apartment!!! just doesn't make sence to me at all!!!

will be thinking about you this weekend when we go to fairport to the perch festival!! i can't wait to eat that good perch again!!! the little restaurant we went to with you is closed up!!! not sure why...oh well there are other places that have perch...

if i can talk rick into letting me put that picture on his pc i will send it to you if you send me your email addy...not promising now but will try...lol

Hi Carla and my OFF family:

Have fun this weekend in Dallas ... wish I could be with you, but no money. I am going to Chicago this weekend for my sister-in-law and brother's birthdays ... although Gary hasn't told me what he wants (and I can't afford his present anyway ... he will have to wait until next weekend). I am looking forward to seeing everyone, not looking forward to the drive, though.

I too am having issues with my back/left knee ... I think it's the nerve in my back that's causing the problems with my knee. All of a sudden, the knee buckles. I may try a visit to the chiropractor and see if that helps. I'm due for a back injection in mid-October, but that's not soon enough for me. I think a lot of it is stress. It started acting up last night when I was stressed out from doing a sports page ... the sports guy gave me the outdoors cover to do, but he didn't look to see if the main graphic item was in the system. He just assumed it was there. It wasn't ... so I couldn't do the cover. I was so pissed. I called graphics (they leave at 5 p.m. ... I started doing this at 10) and the graphics guy said sports never proofed the graphics, so they never put it int he system. Typical! So there I was, supposed to do a page that I couldn't do. I did edit the two stories and put them on the page, but left Pete a note and told him I was not pleased the elements weren't ready. I mean, if you're going to give me work, give me the tools. I'm going to talk to my boss about this again. I started writing an e-mail, then didn't send it. It felt good just to write it.

Well, I need to get my butt in gear and get out the door and get to the store. Have a good day. Happy birthday to Janet.

Carla hope you have a safe trip. I know you will have a terrific time!! I look forward to hearing about the adventures....I am still waiting for someone to lasso me a cowboy and send him to me!!!

I am about done working for this week. Only 3 hours today then the work phone and computer get shut down until Monday!!

I don't have any thing new to gab about. Nothing really planned for the weekend. Hey maybe it can be a relaxing kick back kind of time. I can use that!

My cleaning fairy is here doing her magic!!

My daughters and granchildren are doing okay...no new crisis'...thank goodness! Everyone is busy with school and all the activities that involves.

Hope you all have a happy day. I will check in again later. I want to get my work done so I am free for a few days!
