I'm back from Up North and did the Bridge walk
Hi Gang,
Had wonderful weather up north, did a lot of walking everyday with my SIL Annie.
One day we walked 7 miles from Bob's house to Mackinac City then had my hubby come pick us up at Alice's Carmel Corn store (I was good, didn't have any popcorn)
Walked the bridge with my hubby, took our time since he is not a walker. I let him set the pace so we were "strolling", enjoying the view and just taking our time. I usually walk the bridge under the hour and this time it took us one hour 45 minutes.
Then later I went for another walk with Annie, went 2 miles on the 2nd walk.
We did go to the garage sales, brought a brand new leather coat for 32.00, a signed painting for 3.00 of a ship, it's really pretty (oil painting) new tennis shoes for 7.00 (Skeechers)

i think the bridge walk would be cool! i like that bridge!

Yep, that bridge inspires a lot of people, the beauty of it all and the scenery is breathtaking.
You can feel the bridge swaying a little when you walk on it. My hubby had to stop several times to feel it. We got some great pictures.
Along the way we thanked our military that lined up on both sides of the bridge.
Lots of security on the bridge for the walk.
