Good morning OFF family,
All is well here in Kalamazoo, beautiful weather. Plan on doing a walk during break-time and work out in the pool with Juli after work.

Went to the Allegan Fair last nigh****ched the motorcycle and 4 wheeler's racing on the track. I've never seen one in person, man can those cycles jump. It was cute watching the 4 yr. olds race their motor bikes. The teenagers went pretty fast and my heart jumped out of my chest a few times!!

Slept great last night, woke up early and sat in the hot-tub with hubby before work...just relaxing and drinking our coffee. What a way to start the day!!

Good Morning everyone.
Pretty day here in MI   I hope we continue these pretty days for another month!   70-75 is perfect weather for me!!
Margo I too use simmering spices on the stove for a nice refresher when I want the place to smell real nice.
Bitty Boots and I are heading out for a walk in the woods in search of the perfect colored leaf for gramma who got the courts permission for a visit.   Love the  idea of the walk with my little gal but hate the upcoming visit because I believe Gramma was an enabler for the evil monster.   But having  no proof I have to abide by the courts decision.  For now.    Steve swears this is another little one  I'll end up in jail over trying to protect her.    He might be right.
I too have a Dr appt.   with the ortho dr for my arm.   guess he is going to put another cast on it for a couple of weeks.   He says I do too much with it.  Has he never tried to care for a little bit of trouble with one hand,   let alone the wrong one?   Nurse casually suggested I just give Bitty Boots back to the system!!   Uuuggggg  urge to strangle  was quashed  but with difficulty!!!   Some honestly don't understand how fragile  the  little ones I get are.
Oh  boy!!!!   Bitty boots has dressed herself!!  She will scare the leaves off the trees out in the woods!!!  Bright orange and green legging topped by  purple shorts    a red shirt,  and lemon yellow shoes!!!!   WOW!!!!  and is she proud!!!!!!
YOU all have a great day!!!  I am off to the woods to shock the birds and bunnies~~~

Hi Margo and my OFF family:

Back to work today ... ugh! I have an appointment this morning so I have to get moving. Cleaning lady is coming and the house really needs it. Lots of cat fur to vacuum. It's been more than a month, I think. And I didn't really have time to prepare ... pick up the newspapers, etc. I did get things hidden where I want them in the kitchen (she hides things where I can't find them), but I was so pooped from driving yesterday I didn't do much.

Kitties snuggled with me all night, even Nettie, which is unusual. So they must have missed me, even though I was only gone a night.

It's a nice day today but a little overcast. That allowed me to sleep later (almost 9) because the sun wasn't shining in my window.

I need to take some time today to look at the photos from the GTG. Don't know how much fun I would have been down there anyway ... my back and knees were bothering me all weekend and still are.

Well, need to finish coffee and get in the shower and get ready to go. I'll check back later. Have a good day.

Good morning off'rs.

Went over to the hospital at 7 a.m. to have bloodwork done for my 2 yr checkup next week at Grand Rapids.   There was a new test on there for "parathyroid intact" and the gal taking my blood said there was no diagnosis and Medicare wouldn't pay for it.....called surgeon's office and they went to work on it, but so far haven't come up with a code.  The nurse at GHP called me back and asked if I had osteoporosis or had a bone density scan recently......I have had the scan and it came back "normal" -- PCP was delited that at age 70 I don't have any problems there!  If they can't find a code it will cost me $79.   Yikes.   They took 8 vials of blood --

Had to return an item to Wal Mart and pick up a few things too, so I'm back home now and have sheets in the dryer ready soon to re=make the bed.....I only have one set of sheets for my new bed so wash them and put right back on.

They are saying today will be our last warm day -- high 60's, low 70's the rest of the week.

Going to the library after while and pick up a copy of "The Shack" it's our book club selection for this month.

Probably should do something with the dozen tomatoes I picked Sunday.....have at least twice that many still getting ripe!

Have a great day all,
Pat R.

It's 11:15, I think.....I'm making my son bring me, since my driving is still iffy with the foot problem......he will probably be in a hurry to get back as he has his own business (locksmith) and he's pretty busy.

I'll ask him and let you know.....would be nice to see you again.

PTH goes hand in hand with the 25 hydroxy D test. You can find codes in my profile. If your d is low then your PTH will probaby be high.

Good Morning everyone.

Just a quick note to say Hi and hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life.  I don't post a whole lot.  My life is so routine and not really exciting.  Just know that I am doing well and will post if anything memorable arises in my life.

Have a great one.

Hi Linda,   You gotta be kidding about "your life is so routine" --- wasn't that you on a trip to the Galapagos?   If that wasn't enough, then you went to Dallas.  And soon, you'll be going to an OH conference, right?????  Oh, and don't forget the SINGING -- do you sing in your church choir?   All these things sound like fun to me!

I do sing in my church choir and also in the Kingwood Chorale.  I may have to drop out of the chorale because people don't listen or think....we are asked not to wear scents (perfume..aftershave)  Some of us (ME !!!!!) have severe allergies to such things.  Acutally scents are not allergens but irritants...either way I end up in the doctor's office.  There are a couple of altos that always wear the stuff by the gallons and I get tired of being sick.  If I am sick I can't sing with chorale or choir.  I know I do fun things but my day to day routine is not so interesting.  I mean who wants to hear that I am doing laundry or dusting etc.etc.etc. or like today laundry and posting and reading posts ya know the things that keep us in order so we don't become buried in our own messes.  Speaking of...my washer just sang me a melody.  That means its done.  My whole house speaks to me.  The fridge if I don't close the door tightly, the dishwasher if I open it and don't restart the cycle, the microwave if I don't take out food when it tell me it's ready.  I am being controlled by machines.
