Good Morning Margo and Friends,

Yowsers,  this old lady's tail is dragging today. I think my marathon two weeks of on the go is catching up with me. Told myself I'd get back to the gym today, but don't know if I'll make it or not. I know I NEED to but don't WANT to. Why do I think that I should always get what I WANT not what I NEED?

In the past two weeks I've been to St. Louis and back with daughter and twins. Also took in Dallas for a wonderful weekend. Took a voluntary bump in Salt Lake City and got a $400.00 voucher for future travel. How cool is that??

Hubby is missing the twins bigtime so we'll head over this Friday for the weekend. I want to see them before I go to Italy in less than 3 weeks and this is about the only weekend available. We have plans for the weekend of Sept 26 and the following weekend I go.

Am thinking of those in need. I won't name names. I don't want to leave anyone out. I've been catching up on posts this morning and you are all in my thoughts. Sometimes life is just plain tough and we just have to do the best we can.

Wondering if the swine flu vaccines aree available yet? I'm thinking I'd like to get one before I go to Italy. I'll call the health department today and find out.

Guess I'll make myself go weigh at TOPS today. Something else I don't WANT to do. Not enough exercise of the right kind the past two weeks and more than enough food. But all in all, I should not gripe. I've been blessed. You all take care.

Good morning Margo and OFF friends,
Started my day off early, got up and painted my toenails!

Am at work now and it's been a busy week so far. It's really pretty out so I'll take a walk during break-time.

After work I have a manicure apt then it's on to the gym for spin class.
I'm playing matchmaker with setting my spin instructor up with my BIL.
So far it's working and they have a connection.
Dang!!!!! Just think I may just get my own personal trainer in the family!! LOL

It's fair week for the Allegan Fair. I went the other day and will probably go again on Friday.
You all have a Blessed Day, stay healthy and happy.

Today I started my two week liquid diet prep for surgery!  Tomorrow I go to the surgical education meeting and then to my pre-op physical.  YIKES - it is getting real now.

I'm busy at work, which really helps.  I'm also still in pain from my knee replacement last November - so that's motivating, too!  It's better, but just doesn't seem to completely feel good.  Hoping taking some weight off will help it to heal.

Other than that, life is moving along at a steady pace.  My good friend is coming over tonight to visit.  Not eating/preparing/shopping for meals will give me more time to go through closets, etc.  Right?

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

I feel your pain from the knee replacement ... I had a knee replacement in Feb. 2007, then a revision of the same knee last December. I still have swelling in that leg and pain if I sit too long with it bent (like driving, sitting at my desk at work, etc.). It's better than before, but not great). And I had my knee surgery AFTER I lost 180 pounds.

Good luck on the your preop diet. This is the start of your great journey!

Good morning everyone..:)

I was up early but didn't post.   Not as early as some of you though.  It seems since I have had surgery I wake up during the night more times than I would like to.

Yesterday I had my pedometer on all day.  Walked outside a lot and when I went to check it in the evening I had lost the back and the battery.   DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I was shocked.  lol...   I have no idea how much I walked and could not find the back and battery anywhere in the house.  My husband found it outside.  Of course couldn't find the battery.  At least I have the back.  I put a new battery in it and am wearing it again today.  It is amazing how much a pedometer encourages you to walk.  They say you need to take at least 10,000 steps a day.

I am working on it.

Well everyone have a good day.  My husbands cousin invited me to a pampered chef party.  Anyone use any of their products?

Mary,
I have a few Pampered Chef items. My very favorite is the hand held can opener. (strange, I know) Electric can openers baffle me - this gadget is easy and doesn't leave any sharp edges.

If you have never been to one before, be warned, they usually have all sorts of food !!!!! None of it is WLS friendly and way too tempting.

Have fun.
