Hi Pat, will say some prayers for your friend/group member.

How exciting for you to join TOPS! You will get those pounds back off, slowly but surely. This is for lifetime and not a race anyway. Took me 2 years to get to goal size 6/8.

The further out we get...exercise is the key. I just love water aerobics, it's one of my fav's.

I just bought a new bike seat for my bike, the nice larger padded one. My hubby said "you don't need that big seat, you have a little butt now", I told him thanks but the bigger seat had more cushion and that's what my butt needs! I do miss my butt!

Oh...and the dog I'm holding is my BF Deb's pug named Oscar...he says "I love you"
I have 4 dogs myself but Deb took a pic of me yesterday and loaded it on OH.
Deb is doing great, she's a lapbander and is almost at her goal. She did the Dalmac this year.

it IS great to see your smile, debbiejean!!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Pat:

Hope all goes well Thursday. Wish we could get together, but I understand. I'll bet part of the 10-pound gain is from inactivity (from your surgery) ... I know my 10-pound gain is due to that too ... I just can't get real active when I'm in so much pain. I wish I could get back in the pool, too ... that was the best exercise for me.

Margo, you need to be more careful!  At least you have some percoset to keep you pain free.  Hope you're keeping it iced with a bag of frozen peas, and that you'll soon be up and around soon, but not too soon.  Once you injure an ankle it seems like it's so much weaker, you always tend to re-injure it.  I've not broken mine, but sprained them both many many times.  Sometimes I think a sprain is much worse than a break.
Hugs and prayers for you, and chickens swinging!

Sorry you fell ... I do that a lot. I'm very wary of falling because I've banged myself up so much. Take care of yourself.

Good Morning George and all you other OFF Friends!

Just a quick drop by as I have lots to do here at work and this evening I will probably won't have much time to get on here, as it is my oldest child's birthday (Jeff, he is 36 today).  Yup, September/October are busy birthday months in my family, nephew, cousin, youngest daughter, son, youngest grandson, oldest grandson, daughter-in-law, a few good friends. . .  anyway, going to have cake and see the grand babies, had a good talk with my son this morning, maybe we made some progress, maybe we'll just keep talking about the same old thing some other day, his delayed reactions to things past and the history of life that I hope he does not pass on to his kids. . .

Oh and happy to say that my scale reported back to me this morning that I am now back down to my ticker weight, which makes me happy, seeing as I kept fluctuating within 2 to 4 lbs of it, but I trimmed the "fat" and, of course, there was all the physical activity of this past weekend, so I'm back on the right track and of course Dallas helped me too!

Well folks, you take care and have a great day, I got work to do. . .

Hugs, prayers and positive thoughts, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen
