Thanks, Connie,

I am so glad to see the grandkids are doing much better!

I do feel busy, at least during the day, at night I just want to veg out and that is not good for my eating plan or my OFF time.

Take Care,
Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,

Glad you came back to post, you are missed, as I already told you when I sought you out the other day to wish you a happy surgiversary!

You will be able to use your tool to get back to where you want to go and I am looking forward to hearing how life is going for you and Tom.  Sometimes we think we have boring lives and maybe sometimes they even are boring (lol), I speak for myself here, but it's still nice to stay connected via this forum and from what people have said to me, it's just like sitting down over a cup of coffee and feeling that bond.

Hugs, Laureen

Laureen,

I very much appreciated your note to me the other day. I know we are almost surgery sisters and I consider you an inspiration in more than one way.

I do think my life is boring most of the time. My work zaps my energy and leaves me nearly brain dead at the end of the day.

It is nice to stay connected and so many times I have wanted to post but just too lazy or tired.

I'm so happy to see Dillinger is still with you and happy. Bridget is a wonder dog for us and I can't believe how she has taken over my husbands heart, he never being a dog person.

Take Care,
Cheryl

Hey Girl,

Don't be such a stranger.  I know how it sucks being a graduate student; however, here it pays pretty darn good if I count the teaching, the researching, and the extra placement exams that I grade.  But, if it weren't for my hubby's work, we'd be screwed. The good news is, this too will pass. Just think of how much money you guys will have once he finishes.  That's what I keep telling myself.

Good to hear from you and don't be a stranger.

Hey Jeannie,

I have missed seeing your posts too!

Yep, the money part sucks, but I think Tom is having quite a good time. He is making all kind of connections with people and is really in his element. I, however, am doing just like you said, dreaming of the day he gets a good job, we have a bit more money (I hope), and maybe I will be able to quit or go at least part time. My joke with Tom is that after being with all those smart, interesting people all day he has to come home and talk to the "monkey"(meaning I sometimes think my intelligence level must seem like a monkey brain to him) as I am only a lowly BA grad. He always says nonsense but geeze, some of that stuff he reads is way beyond me!

How's school? How's teaching? How you feeling physical wise?

Take Care,
Cheryl
