Hi it's Wednesday, what's new?
Good morning everyone...
Well my wait and see is almost over. The test at the hospital last week finally showed the doctors that I have a tumerous parathyroid. My surgery is scheduled for Jan 20th. Thats three days before my mom's 80th birthday party. She is going to be very upset about that..but ...hey thats life.
I'm actually quite anxious about this surgery..I think because of the loss of time at school. But, I've been sick because of this since May..so its time to resolve it.
Eileen..I agree with Jacki, turn the phone off and have a great NAP!
George enjoy your game day...
Jacki...its ok to cry...just remember we are here for you and your husband..((HUGS))) and prayers that all will go well.
Its cold here in NY too.. and I'm already sick of SNOW!!!!!
Mary...with our economy the way it is I applaud you for helping with the food pantry.
Well I'm off to school...long day today..but , I have to admit..I love being with the kids.
Have a good day everyone...(((HUGS)))) to those in need.

It sure is *cold* and has been for the last several days. Today is going to be a busy day again. It's my DH's birthday!!!! We still have a lot of running around to do though. :P Yesterday was very busy but nothing interesting (ho-hum). Just want to wish everyone a wonderful Wednesday!

Sitting and waiting makes your shift seem so long. Busy is much better at making the time go by. I'm all for naps, but I'd turn the phone off too
I started feeling pretty punky yesterday, ear ache and all. I went to the PCP and sure enough, ear/sinus infection, so I'm on antibiotics for 10 days. Hope they start working soon. I haven't had an ear ache since I was a little kid and I don't like it at all! I asked him if he saw that I had gained weight, and his response? "Yes, I did. You look great". AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I guess he doesn't care that my undies are too tight as long as I'm in a normal BMI. So, looks like I"m in the barge without his help. it's okay, I have you guys!
We're supposed to get sleet/snow tonight into tomorrow. I'm hoping my 5:30 client will reschedule to Saturday, I really don't want to be out in this.
Good thoughts, well wishes, hugs and prayers to all! Have a good day
Susan
Good morning all!
Just popping in to say hey! Melissa and I are trying to encourage each other in good eating habits and lose some of the gain we have had. You know, like the buddy system? We are doing OK I think, not great but ok. Since I didn't weigh myself Monday I won't "officially" know if I have lost weight, but should be able to tell it in my clothes.
I'm trying to get back to posting on here again, I know I do better when I do. You all take care of yourselves!
Happy Hump Day!

So nice to see you here and yeah, seems just like old times, new year and working off the gain. . . and yes a buddy system is a great idea as well as checking in here for additional support, even if it's just a quick hiya! As I said, it's great to see your face whenever you post!
Happy New Year!
Hugs, Laureen

Howdy Eileen and OFF family,
Crazy ride into work, blac**** One car flipped over on 131.
Missed gym last night, it started snowing hard in Kalamazoo and after my workout I have a 35-45 minute drive so I just headed on home after work and cleaned house.
Tonight it's spin class and I'm meeting my BF to workout so I'm committed today for sure!
They are starting a new water class in the therapy pool doing a combination of Yoga and Pilate's. I may just try that next week for a change up. Anything in water I just love...but I have to spin too. Spin class really helps my thighs and butt!!
Jacki hugs and good thoughts for you hubby. You go ahead and cry in your private time, you need that and be a rock for your hubby when your with him. It's hard I know. Look for cues from hubby, maybe he just needs to be held and you both cry together. Men do need to cry but many don't. They just don't let "go".
