Getting to Know You

1. Where do you live?  northeast ohio

2. Married or signifcant other situation/names  living with the love of my life rick for almost 2 years now and each day we love each other more

3.  Children ages/names  i have 2 boys that i haven't seen or talked to in over 13? years now...their choice not mine   rick has a daughter nicole 19 years old
 
4. Grandchildren ages/names  far as i know i have 5 grandkids 3 boys and 2 girls...rick has 1 grandson anthony that will be 2 end of april  

5. Job or not?  Retired?  i am in charge of food court in a wholesale club

6.  What was your age when you hade WLS?  i was almost 55 when i had my wls

7. What was your beginning BMI and what is it now?  not sure what it was off hand but i weighed 334 pounds when i started and i am up and down in my weight 185-199 so not sure what it is now

1. I live in Northwest North Dakota (Montana to west..Candada to North)
2.  I am married to Dale for 49 years this June (1961)
3.  We have 2 children, Michael (45) lives in same city as we do.
Daughter, Melissa (41) lives in Boise, Idaho
4.  One grand daughter, Haylee (10) lives abt 4 blocks from us
and we have one step grandson (24) lives in same city and 3 step grand daughters in Idaho and 7 step great grand kids in Idaho.
5.  I had my surgery Nov 19, 2008 when I was 66 years old
6.  My starting BMI was ? (I weighed 270 lbs) and now I am at 150 with a BMI of 24.
7.  I have had no complications other than gallbladder surgery 6 mths after WLS and I am below goal by 9-10 lbs.
I am retired but help hubby and son with family owned siding and window business.  I answer the phone!!!  hahaha

I was 57 when I had surgery.  July  14, 2009

Gee I don't recall.  I lost a lot of weigth before I had surgery.  I think it was in the 50's  I would have to check again.

I have two kids-  Steven 28 and Kelly 24.  I am blessed, they are both slobs

4. Grandchildren ages/names: Rozzie 7, Remi 3, new "bun in the oven, expecting in July"

5. Job or not?  Retired?  I work at a hospital in Volunteer Services. Love it!

6.  What was your age when you hade WLS?  51

7. What was your beginning BMI and what is it now? Highest weight...well stopped weighing myself at 300, starting weight at surgery was around 255. Don't know what my weight is now but my panties are getting tight. I'm detoxing my body this week of sugar and carbs.

3.  Children ages/names: No children of my own. Ex didn't want kids, long story since he knew I wanted children, New hubby has 3 grown daughters who are mine too!! Amanda 31, Danielle 29 and Rebecca 27.

Here goes:

3.  Children ages/names  We lost all 3 of our children but I have 1 stepson Shawn age 29
   
4. Grandchildren ages/names  Kayden who will be 10 months on the 18Th of this month. He is the love of Grandpa and Grandma's lives and he knows it too!

5. Job or not?  Retired?  no job right now but hopefully in the near future

6.  What was your age when you Had WLS?  53 years old and now I am 55 years young

7. What was your beginning BMI and what is it now?  I have no idea. I would have to check that but I know it was MUCH higher then than now minus 130+ pounds!

Thanks for thinking about this. Every once in while we use to do things like this but it has been a while. This is a great way to get to know the new ones for us too!
