On the boat that never docks.....what are you eating???

Ladies, my dingy has sunk. It's resting on the bottom of the ocean like the Titanic. It's going to take some serious resuscitation to raise it, too.  I've gained 2 lbs. Damn.
Went through my closet to get rid of all of my clothes that are too small. We're not talking a few things, we're talking 3, yes THREE kitchen trash bags of clothes. What a shame. What a waste. How depressing.
I have to go to the doctor about my elbow, which means I have to get weighed. I used to be so excited to get on his scale because it wouldn't have budged since my last appointment. Now, just like old times, I dread going in just because it means I have to get on the damn scale.

Sure wish I could take my brain out of my skull and throw it in the washer with the whites!

I'm giving up white foods for Lent, and have decided to reduce my calories to 1000 a day for two weeks. Since I fight to get to 1400, staying at 1000 shouldn't be a problem.

Here's my plan so far. We'll see what happens by the end of the day. Wish me luck!!!

latte

B-veggie quiche cup, 1 slice whole wheat double fiber bread, toasted

protein coffee

L- chicken thigh, beets

D-- albondigas (Mexican meatball soup with lots of veggies and brown rice)

s--yogurt and 10 pecan halves.

probably more protein coffee through the day along with LOTS of water.

So, how's your boat sailing?

My boat is finally out of the choppy waters of hypoglycemia.  I'm still trying to get it sailing in a smooth current ... preferably a warm tropical breeze to go with it.

Now that I have the hypoglycemia problem somewhat under control...  I NEED to concentrate on foods that can help get the 20 lbs off.  20 lbs is what I gained back... plus another 20 lbs to get to goal.  It seems like an unattainable amount... but I know I  have to do it.

S  apple peanut butter

B oatmeal cranraisins.. small portion

S cheese  crackers

L ?

S protein  bar

D shrimp veggies rice

S  cheese crackers

I'm still working on getting back on track.  I did well  before the cruise, but back slid a bit while away.  I'm going to work on it this next week before I leave to go see my kids next weekend.  I'll only be gone for 4 days, but I can do some serious damage in that time, based on past experience when visiting my kids.  I'm more concerned about that than I was for the cruise.

B:  The usual, cottage cheese and fruit.
L:  Grilled cheese and turkey on flatbread
S:  low fat cheese sticks
D:  Something from the freezer, prolly chili
S:  V- 8 juice

My cupboards are BARE!!!  I cleaned them out before my trip, and haven't shopped since I got home.  Tomorrow is the big day.  I'll stock up on my staples and hopefully find some nice fresh fish and cook up a bunch for the weekend.

One day at a time.....

Susan, I wish I could fit into your little clothes.  Unfortunately, I have some size 10's that I have to clear out, too.....

I wonder if the mashed potatoes triggered the hunger?

Hi:

Had a weird day yesterday.  After a grueling day at school with the little darlings, ate Wendy's Chili at 5:30 p.m. and fell asleep until 11 p.m.  Woke up hungry so I had some 1/2 cup chicken salad and puttered around the house for an hour till I fell asleep again.
Woke up at 4:15 a.m. had tea and waited till 6:30 a.m. to eat breakfast.

Here is the plan for today (
green font = done):
B - 1 cottage cheese pancake, 1/2 small apple, DF syrup.
S - 1 oz nuts
L - 1 cheese stick and 1 Jello Mousse Creation
S - 1 cheese stick
D - 1 cup leftover Wendy's Chili, SF popsicle
S - 1 flourless mini muffin, 1 tsp. peanut butter, 1/2 small apple

Let's hope I can stay awake until bedtime tonight.

Ciao y'all,

Maria

Probably but I love mashed potatoes. I put cream cheese in them for extra flavoring. A few bites and I'm good. Hubby likes the leftovers for breakfast. He will put them in a frying pan and add eggs. Now I don't care for that at all. Just over easy for me!
