Now this is something to think about!

From Kristi, my eating coach! This is good, eat what satisfies me, only less. The thing is I have to stop and not binge on other things. Especially if I know I'm stress eating. Food will always be my issue. But I will continue to Dream Big!!

Do something Friday

"Desires often run our lives. Understand them and learn to seek pleasures that enhance your sense of well-being." --Joel Kramer and Diana Alstad

What if you knew what would enhance your sense of well-being? Are you even sure you know what well-being means for you?

If our well-being was ultimate yard stick to measure our decisions (eating and everything else) -- that would open up time for brownie sundaes -- but I bet we would also choose to eat smaller sundaes because that would make our sense if well-being increase too.

I bet many of us would find that we don't like how much we worry about what we eat -- putting so much energy into which low-fat/low-carb whatever would be the best alternative for what we really want to eat.

This weekend-- take some time -- think about your well-being. If you could arrange the perfect sense of fitting into your skin, what would that feel like to you. Right now, don't worry about how you are going to get there -- just figure out how it would feel.

Dream big, my friend and see all of the possibilities open to you.

Hi Debbiejean:

I always find your posts so helpful

I find that the definition of well being is shifting as I drop the lbs.!  More and more I bypass the bad behavior that led to the extra weight, and choose the healthy options.   For example, exercising used to be a chore, but since increasing the aerobic workouts to 1 hr., my stamina has skyrocketted, and I look forward to them every day.

So now "well-being" means feeling light on my feet, and there is no amount of sugar and carbs that even come close to it.

Keep on sharing. I look forward to it every day.

Ciao,

Maria

Thanks Maria,
Keep exercising and pretty soon if not all ready your body will crave the exercise.
Not stressing and loving ourselves is hard to do sometimes. If we live in a "positive aura" then it seems like life is just easier. Not sweating the small stuff. Enjoy growing older and just accepting ourselves how we turn out. We gotta remember how far we have come in our lives journey's. I like to keep "smoothing out my bumps in the road" and have a peaceful ride.

Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Debbie:

Thanks for the encouragement.  I try very hard to keep up a good attitude, and it becomes very difficult when I see myself passing a mirror at a store and wonder who the old lady is.  No kidding.  It happened yesterday and it really hit hard, but I reminded myself that the creepy neck is getting cut up this summer and to stop being a whinny baby about a bit of extra skin.

I am very grateful for your postings which never fail to raise my spirits.

Ciao bella,

Maria
