Good morning Crew Mates!� How goes your voyage today?

I'm still fighting this stupid cold. I feel like poop, and really don't want to eat at all. I'd rather just drink my protein coffee and tea.� Okay, here goes:

latte
protein coffee

quiche cup (new variation, Bacon bits and swiss cheese) and a slice of whole wheat toast
benefit fiber bar

protein coffee--decaf so I can go take a nap

albondigas

chili

I have absolutely no plan in place for today.  Fortunately, I have all my staples on hand, and will just grab the usual, I guess.  I'm getting bored with the "usual", though.  The cruise spoiled me....a nice variety of food, prepared well, and by someone else..  And pie.  Unfortunately.

I'm doing OK sticking to program.  That's because of you guys, especially Susan and the barge....

I've been trying all sorts of new dishes lately. It's so nice to get out of my food rut. Having staples around that you can build meal with is great. When I went to the grocery store yesterday I bought some new spices. I made a vegetarian dish with garbanzo beans, lots of different veggies and a red curry sauce. Served it over coucous. Yummo.  Of course, I have a cold, so nothing really tastes super good   LOL

Just had my protein coffee too....that's my breakfast.
S: grapefruit
L: chili
S: apple
half of banana before spin class, half afterwards
D: fish and veggies
S: baby carrots or Muscle Milk Light..probaby both, I get hungry later after I exercise not to mention just wanting to eat at night.

My cold continues with a vehemence and I'm sticking to my usual, boring food for one more day - whatever of it I can keep down that is!

This is the first cold I've had in years and I'm not happy about it. Sure wi**** would just go away. Gary says I should go to the doctor, but it's a cold, for heaven's sake!  Just a waste of $25 for an office visit.

Hope you feel better soon. Sounds like we're about on the same track with this.

my boat flipped yesterday and I had a whole dark chocolate bar - today WILL be better.

b. - protein chai tea
s - slice of chicken and cheese
l - egg salad
d - going to buffet but will be good (I hope!)

Dark chocolate. MMMMMMM. Had a long spell with that after a nutritionist told me how glad she was to see it on my daily journal (2 pieces of Dove Dark). Well......that's all I needed...PERMISSION!  Before I knew it, I was going through a bag of those little devils a week. Thank goodness that's behind me. Haven't had any in quite a few months now. Whew!

 I did ok yesterday.  I was fine until evening.  I dropped after going for a walk then couldn't find enough in the house to eat ! ! !

today should be better.

egg rye toast
nuts pb
chili w/cheese
fruit veggies w./ meat
chicken & dumplings.....
cheese crackers

Evening seems to be everyone's downfall. Gotta find a way to stay busy and focused on other things so our minds don't wander in the direction of the kitchen. Or, maybe that yellow tape they put around crime scenes!  String it across the door to the kitchen  " WARNING----DO NOT CROSS
