OT: My status

Aw, I'm sorry Darlene.  This economy supposedly is recovering but truthfully I haven't seen signs of it yet.

Oh Darlene, I am so sorry this happened to you.

Something has got to happen with this economy!  And it better be soon.

So sorry this has happened to you.  The economy sucks big time, but there may be something better for you just around the corner. 

I love the saying "Be realistic; expect miracles."

So sorry to hear your news.  I hope you find a new job soon.  Keep your head up and your friends close so you don't get too depressed.  My last four jobs spanning 20 years I got from networking with people I know (relatives, former co-workers, friends, etc.) - so use that great resource.  Finding a job is hard work so hunker down and get ready for a lot of frustration.
I hope you get lucky and find one right away.  What kind of work do you do?

Bev, thanks for the kind words. I don't have friends to network with so that is out. But thanks for the suggestions anyway.

Wished I lived near you so we could be friends in person instead of virtual.
If something drastic doesn't save the company I work for now, I may join you in the unemployment line.
