Whew! Here I am,,finally back in the boat! Fell off with a bad case of the flu for a few days,,didnt really care what I ate or how much, I felt so yukky. But Im all better now, just have a lingering cough but even that is getting better.

Its a beautiful day here in Indy,,almost 60 degrees! So, I got in my first walk of the season. I took my overweight dog out and we walked the neighborhood briskly. And found out just how out of shape we both are, lol. But its a start!

Menu for today
B- cottage cheese w cinnamon and splenda
S- 1 T PB
L- cheeseburger on a plate, 1/2 c spinach
S- protein shake
D- small filet mignon w horseradish sauce, green beans.
S- sugar free jello

Here we go,,,starting again.

Have a blessed evening!
Betsy

Hi Betsy!

Glad you have you back among the crew, and sorry you were under the weather. It's been a rough cold and flu season this year. I understand that cough could stick around for some time. Hope it goes away soon!

Take care

Good afternoon Susan,

I have been busy the last few days and not been on the computer, so here I am and while I've already eaten most of my food today, here is what it was. . .

B:  Multigrain (100 cal) muffin with turkey bacon and melted cheese

S:  Orange and a capful of Emerald Coca Roasted Almonds

L:  Pea Soup and cup of freshly made fruit salad, made with banana, mango & strawberries

S:  None

D:  Mini Flatout bread with homemade chicken salad (made with white meat chicken, Hellman's lowfat mayo, celery, avocado, black pepper)

S:  Either a yogurt or a piece of fruit

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Wow!!!  What a great day to be eatin' in your neighborhood!  Don't you just love those almonds? I can't keep them here or at the salon, one leads to 10, which leads to 15 and then guilt!!!  I found them packaged in single serving boxes at Wal-mart, but, boy are they expensive.
