Good morning one and all! It's going to be a beeeeauuuuttttttiful day here in the neighborhood and I'm hoping to get out for a nice walk between clients today. I jumped the gun on celebrating/bragging about that 1 lb, it didn't stick. Oh well, I'm still down about three lbs from my freakish gain 6 months ago. Whew! I'll take it!

The recipe today is for a very high protein/fiber bean salad. The recipe calls for 2-4 tbs olive oil, but I'd cut that way back, maybe more like 1-2 at the most. It holds well for a few days in the fridge, and makes either a good side dish, lunch or even just a snack.

Let's see if I can think about my menu. Here's what I'm thinking, but it might change!

l--turkey on sandwich thin

d-- shrimp creole w/ brown rice, lots of veggies and yummmmm

S: half banana before walk during lunch
S: half banana after walk
L: chili
S: apple
D: beef and veggies

Good Morning Susan!
My menu today is a bit unusual....I'm loading up on calories (especially protein) so I'm ready for surgery tomorrow morning.  Here's my plan for today........

B- 2 eggs, diced veg,  toast, 1/2 oz feta cheese, orange marmalade
S- Protein shake, 1/2 apple
L- 2 slices of Pizza (yes, real pizza...part of my carb loading)
S- Protein shake
S- Banana, 12 almonds
D- Not exactly sure...we are going out to a restaurant...I'm sure it will be some sort of grilled or baked fish and lots of veg
S- Banana (maybe another protein shake..it will depend if I can force it in or not)

That's the plan.....
Have a wonderful Weds....I'll post again in a few days as soon as I can use my arms and I'm not doped up from the pain in my legs.
