Wednesday "Hop to it!"
It must be Wednesday most everywhere but here on the west coast so I'll start the exercise thread. I have been to the gym every day for over a week. . . Think that is some kind of record for me. Tomorrow if the pass is decent we'll drive to our daughter's. They are reporting a winter storm warning (Needs a new name doesn't it? I mean it's almost April!) If the pass is too bad we'll go down along the Columbia River gorge to Portland and then up to Erin's. It's about an hour longer that way but when there is nasty weather at 4500 feet it is usually just rain at 500 ft. And it's a pretty drive in the early spring. . .and there are outlet malls on the way (no sales tax in Oregon save $$$$$$!)
So, I talked to Erin and we have plans to go for long walks each day while I am there. I was trying to make her feel better because she used to run all the time and can't now. I was telling her the spiel I heard: "It's all the same whether you run a mile or walk a mile caloriewise." WELL. . . she said that she heard that was a myth. I'll have to check it out and let you know.
So I still have laundry to fold and packing to do. I'll have my laptop so I'll see you later today or tomorrow for sure. Keep exercising those muscles.

Well, let's see. Today I got up too early. Around 4:30 and I am already tired. I think I will take a nap around 11.
Today I take my sister to the infectious disease doc to see if he can do anything for her foot. I hope so. My brother sent me 100.00 f******oney because I take her so many places. She cam't afford to give me any gas money. I thought it was nice that he sent the money, it will surely help.
Yesterday her other two kids went to court. More problems there. I just don't see how she keeps her sanity. I would be beyond depressed by now.
My son still can't find a job. I am getting worried that he won't find one. I am pretty stressed out because of that too.
Luckily my daughter found a new job and works great hours for her. At night, she is a night owl anyway.
I don't really have any news. Sorry to add misery to this post. People probably read over mine because of it. lol.
Have a great day, and I will be thinking of all of you. Those that need prayers you are in my thoughts.
Peace
I am on my way. What a ride it has been.

Just tell your friend walking is one of the best exercises you can do. It's easier on your body than running and I'm not a runner. Walking will tone up those legs and keep them slim.
Today I will be walking 2 miles during my lunch with Julie and Chris.
After work it's spin class unless I just can't take this wonderful sunshine...then I will go home and ride my bike...but I do get a motivated wonderful workout in spin class.

My stepdaughter is pregnant too and walks with me. She is freaking out about her weight gain.
She has lost 90 pounds on her own, was and is a mindful eater and is doing great with her diet/exercise. She just gets so tired and she is petite. She is due in July. It's a girl and I can't wait til "Loulabelle" gets here!!
My daughter has decided to become domesticated and have Easter dinner on Saturday. She really doesn't cook much and doesn't know her way around a kitchen too well. When she does, her husband will get the camera out and take a picture to tease her. Well, I'm sure I will be helping out a lot. She asked if she should have ham. I told her that would be good, but to be sure and buy a "bone-in" ham as they are the best. She said that sounded too hard. LOL! Guess I didn't do the best job of teaching her kitchen skills, but in my defense, she was never interested.
