Missed you?  OH YES!   I was so glad to see your post.  Sounds like you've had quite a run - sorry about the deer and the poison ivy, but the rest of it sounded pretty good.  Keep taking care of yourself and hopefully we'll see more of you now.

Hugs Laureen, darn poison ivy anyway! Yikes!!
Thank God you were okay after hitting the deer. That is scary.
Yep, we missed you tons!
If you are still itchy, take an oatmeal bath. Clean up is yucky but it helps with itching.

Thanks DebbieJean, I certainly am grateful for all the love from you folks here and for the angels that were on duty this past Sunday. . . thanks for the oatmeal bath idea, I might just do that in my garden tub, as it is the perfect day for such a thing, I think it is 90 here on the East Coast, a bit much for April, but I'll take it . . .

Wow you've had quite a time.  My SIL got into some poison ivy last summer.  He was in misery.  He was just talking about it on Sunday and said he won't go into the woods again to cut wood unless he's in a hazmat suit. LOL

The deer around here are awful.  I hate to even drive from dusk to dawn because you're bound to see one on the road.  I've come so close, so many times but have never hit one.  One did hit my husband once - ran right into the side of his car.  They are beautiful, but not very smart animals. LOL   We had to stop the other night for 6 of them just standing in the middle of the highway.  I honked.  They just stared at me.  Like THEY owned the road, not me. LOL  They finally decided to mosey on into the ditch.  The road kill deer do provide some good meals for the eagle population, so I guess there's an upside to it. Keeps the body shops in business too.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Wanda,

They are such beautiful creatures and sadly I see way too many along the roads I drive daily, there are even some that live in the woods behind where my son's house is, as well as wild turkeys, all the building of the last couple of decades has given them less and less space and I guess their population has also grown some. . .  that is exactly what happened that deer ran right into my car, I think he must have panicked, grateful that I and my passenger were ok, the car, well it's just a thing and that's why I have insurance, but I am going to look for a thing that supposedly you can put on your vehicle and it issues a sound of some sort that scares the deer away. . .  I certainly don't want a repeat of what happened.

Take care and thanks for sharing your story with me.

Laureen
