My idea of camping is a hotel room with a shower and a plasma TV.

I was a Girl Scout leader at one point when I was younger ... I still have the sleeping bag, although I'm trying to get rid of it. But I wised up ... plus, having a bad back and knees makes it hard to get up off the ground. Even the AeroBed is difficult to get up off the floor, although it's not too uncomfortable.

I was an Assistant Girl Scout Leader at one time. I loved it.
I also taught line dance to over 500 girl scouts one year at a camp. It was a hoot. They had lots of "stations" so the brownies and girl scouts could work on getting their badges.
I had so much fun that day!
Thanks for the memories you just gave me Eileen!
And...Thank you for your time and being a Girl Scout Leader!

Good morning Margo & all. Last night my son & his kids came for dinner. I actually cooked. We had beef & venison roast with carrots & potatoes. I also made fresh strawberry shortcake. It surprises me how they all eat splenda & can't tell the difference. This my second oldest son, he has 2 teenage girls, an 11 year old son & a 10 year old daughter. A great bunch of kids.

Today I will put in more of my garden. My family room looks like a greenhouse. Sunday I made 3 batches of jam. Thats the only kind my kids will eat.

The Tigers play a double header today so I need to get this stuff early. I do love baseball. I'm not as addicted as George or Eileen, but close.

I do hope you all have a great day. Margo, sounds like your job is working out great! Nan

Pouring rain again today.  I hope it lets up before I head to work.  We have an attached garage so I won't get wet going to work, but no garage at work. LOL

Gall Bladder surgery tomorrow morning.  All prayers appreciated!  We will head to Kansas City after work today since it's 2 hours away and I have to be at the hospital by 6 AM tomorrow.

Have a great day everyone!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Prayers and best wishes on your surgery tomorrow, Wanda.

Morning all OFF friends.   It's gloomy and foggy here in southwest Michigan this morning ......annnndddd  cold .....brrrr.  It's a shame to have to wear sweatshirts in the middle of May.

Got a fantastic report from foot doctor yesterday -- he is so pleased with the progress my foot has made, and he said it will only get better.   I do know it won't ever be 100%, but at least I can walk again.

Off to work shortly.   Did 25 minutes on the bike again today -- working up to 30 minutes.  This damp weather makes all my joints hurt.

Have a great Wednesday,
Pat R.
