What's new Wednesday Sept. 8th
Good morning OFF friends:
Well, tomorrow is the day at last....I am super excited.
Working this morning, then last minute laundry this afternoon. Will pack in the morning, then DS will take me to the airport mid-afternoon. Our flight doesn't leave until 9:40 --hope I can sleep on the plane.
Nice and cool here this morning -- we nearly blew away yesterday -- the wind was awful -- heard reports from 35 to 50 mph winds. Lots of limbs down here in Sturgis but at least our power didn't go out.
Support group last night was a bust! Only two ppl showed up and we voted last month to have it on Tuesday....so where was everyone? I am sorry to say I am getting burned out with this group....
Time to finish my oatmeal and get ready for work.

Hi Pat and OFF family,
Safe travels Pat!!
Pat we only had 7 people in our bariatric support group show up Saturday, it was the holiday weekend and a lot of people were out of town. All of the people were 2 plus years out except for one but it was a great group.
Yep, it sure was windy last night, darn acorns popping off trees and hitting my roof, it was noisy last night for sure!! LOL
Went to see my MIL at the nursing home. She said the feeding tube in her belly was hurting her. The good news is she ate for me half her sandwich, pickle and a few bites of chocolate pie and her hot chocolate. She told me she was sleepy all day, they don't need to sedate this woman!
Oh well...by the time I got home it was almost 8pm. I was tired and hit the sack just before 9pm!
I need to get my exercise "Mojo" back people. I'm making myself go to the gym after work today even if I'm tired...oh I say that now but will I follow through with this promise???

This morning I will be out in the yard picking up all the stuff that blew aroung. We had gusts up to 51 mph! Hopefully we will get some warm sunny days before the official start of fall.
Support group tonight at my surgeons. Last one before my surgery next tuesday.

Pat - have a fantastic trip. I wish I could stow away in your suitcase.
One thing that seems to keep people coming to the support groups is that I send out meeting notes every week. The members enjoy the support, even when they can't attend and it reminds them where to go for help.
I lead lap-band and RNY groups but send both meeting notes to both . Some folks attend every meeting too. It is nice to have different points of view and ideas.
I'm going to spend the day in bed. Woke up with a nasty case of vertigo. Every turn of the head makes the world tip and then nausea hits. I certainly don't want to try and drive.

It's the middle of the week already! Today is my busiest day as I have 3 back to back classes from 11-3 ... no time for lunch! :P That's OK, it's just one day a week. The check engine light is on in the car but it has plenty of oil and fluids so we have to take it in to be checked out tomorrow. Thursdays are the one day of the week when no one has a class, lol. My youngest can't drive and doesn't have a car so we have to take her back and forth to school too. Luckily her classes coincide with mine.

Hi Pat and all my OFF friends,
Pat, Have a nice trip. A little sprinkling of rain this morning. Weatherman says tomorrow will start the cool down. I love fall. I bought a new camera with some money Mom gave me for my birthday. I bought another Kodak one because it's the one I've had for seven years. I have taken it to scouting events, dropped it, kicked it, used it in the rain, in below freezing temps., let the kids use it and it has always worked. But it is five megapixels and the new one is 12 megapixels for better shots of my grandkids, of course.
I need to do some paperwork this week to change over some bills that are automatically debited from one account to another. And set up a college fund account for my little Tess who is one now. I've been procrastinating because it means dealing with banks and mortgage companies on the phone. Blech!
I hope we hear from Margo that Michaels leaving went OK.
