2 weeks to go!

Well people I am starting to get really nervous. I only have 2 weeks to go until my surgery. I have been on a detox diet for the last week with 1 meal replacement a day.  Tomorrow I start on 2 replacements a day and then 3 the following week.  Eating lots of vegies.  I am going to get my juicer out on the weekend as well.

I can't believe the time has gone so quickly. My work contract finishes on Friday so that will be me for what..8 weeks I think. The weather is really nice so I will be hitting the pool every day.  Got to get some condition into my lungs for the surgery. Any tips for improving lungs?

I am getting so excited for you...wooohooo..almost there!!

Exercise will help with the lungs. Stay away from anyone that smokes!!

Happy Happy Time Gerdy!!!  im just barely starting out (as YOU know) LOL!!!  but only 2 weeks away huh?  Yaaaaaaay!!!  and about the Improving You Lungs Question?  well my son was sick a few years ago and he used to do this when he was sitting down resting...  he used to take REALLY Deep Breathes....  i mean Inhale BIG and then let it out Slowly...  ALL THE WAY OUT... Exhale until there is nothing left...  Do It While You Sitting Down Relaxing ok?  because it CAN make you a bit dizzy...  but getting ALOT of air down into your lungs is really GOOD for them!  so do these exercises whenever you just sitting there Reading or Watching the Tele...  It Works!!!

Thanks for that Lillee.  I will do that. I swam for an hour yesterday and I didn't use sunscreen and boy, am i paying the price now.  Couldn't believe I got as burnt as I did.  Will be much more careful tomorrow.
