abdominal pain question

I had a bowel obstruciton and surgery to correct it 4 weeks ago.  Yesterday what felt like the same type of pain started again.  I went to the Dr and they did a CT scan which did not show any abnormalties.  the pain feels like severe gas pain and has continued for over 24 hours.  I have a call into my dr.  but I thought I would post and see if any one else had experienced severe gas type pains and if you had any suggestions.  Thanks for your help. 

By the way today is my one year surgery anniversary.  I am still glad I had the surgery even with the complications.  I have gone from a size 18W to a size 6.  I have meet my original goal of 145.  And even though my current goal is 135 I have decided that 142 is small enough.  I am starting to look to skinny.  I never thought I would have that problem.

Just a thought ~ Have you been taking any antibiotics lately?  Sometimes you can get C-Diff from the antibiotics killing all the good bacteria in your intestines and colon that keep the bad bacteria in check.  I had it and there was gas, severe stomach pain and diarrhea.  It's something that needs to be treated right away.  I listened to the Doc about treating the pain at home and ended up in the hospital for five days.  All my intestines and colon were infected. Owwy.

Thanks for your response.  I haven't been on any antibiotics for anything.  I am starting to have some diarrhea.  I guess I will have to see what the Dr wants to do next.  I was really hoping when I woke up this morning all the pain would have been gone.  I hate having pain and not knowing the reason for it.

I had a small bowel obstruction emergency surgery July 12th.
Yep, pain that you described I had too. Takes awhile to heal and we will have pain.
I had open incision...lots of adhesion's...which caused the small bowel obstruction.
It's okay to take pain meds.
