I'm eating, how about you? Tuesday edition
Good morning one and all.
It's a cold morning here and all I want to do is go back to bed, but that's not in the cards. So.....I'll get this thread going, and then myself.
We went to the gym yesterday, finally, and I did the bike for 4 miles/25 minutes. Not a lot, but it's a start!
Yesterday:
latte
leftover (dumped the rest) of the Vietnamese soup
sandwich thin w/ deli turkey and cheese
apple, almonds
curried meatballs on basmati rice, green beans
applesauce/lf granola
latte

Susan
Susan,
I should copy and paste my daily eating. Nothing new or exciting comes out of my kitchen.
Part is 100% laziness, the other factor is I like routine and not having to think about food. Tried & true works best for my taste buds.
Still, it is interesting to read what others prepare. Thanks for being a loyal Captain.
Kisses
Annette

Good morning maties
I have been hit and miss posting lately and that will not change for awhile. First I am crazy busy. Second my computer's harddrive died along with numerous other parts. By the time dell gets all the replacements to me I will have a brand new computer. Thank God for warranties.
My food choices are not the best as I am running around all day but I am making the best eat out choices I can an I am watching portions carefully.
I have not lost but I am maintaining and if I can get through the next couple of weeks in the same boat I will be not only satisfied but gratified.
See ya as I can.

ALoha dear Susan.....I am so bad about participating here but I read daily and get so many good ideas.
It's now 10:00 a.m. on Maui and I just returned from my daily walk...it's about a mile down the street to the park. It is so wonderful to breathe deeply of the fresh air from all the gorgeous trees, flowers and bushes on the street. It's a street with a garden at the end, and doesn't go on, so low traffic. I'm trying to do this every day and kick myself when I don't.
As far as food goes, my breakfast is almost always the same:
Yogurt with half a banana and two scoops of Kashi Go Lean or other fruit/nut and granola mix. Stir it all up in a dish with a splash of milk, and yum.
Lunch and dinner are usually on the fly so a piece of fruit a sandwich using those delicious round whole wheat flat breads...either peanut butter and jelly, or ham/chicken/tuna with cheese, lettuce, etc. Sweet pickle. Maybe a cookie or two.
Dinner has been turkey soup for the past week.....I'm about ready to toss it. Always have whole grain bread with the soup, and dessert of either cheesecake, ice cream (a few bites) or cookies and milk.
I'm staying at around 170 so as long as I don't go past that I pretty much each what I want to. If I see the scale creep up, I eliminate the sweets, and it comes down fast.
Thanks for the time you put into this......sorry I don't contribute more.
Aloha nui loa,
Maui Karen
