One year out

Well I am one year out. Down about 140 lbs 20 to go. Went to family Dr. All labs good except vit D so taking massive dose to get it up. Other than that very good. Would I do it again in a heart beat.

Hey Terri, how nice to see you!  Congratulations on your surgiversary and wonderful results. I bet you feel sooooo much better!

I guess I either didn't know or forgot you moved from AZ???? Guess that means you don't have any word on our long lost Linda.

As far as your D goes, did they prescribe green gel capsules at 50,000 IU's???  If they did, they're not going to do you any good at all since we don't have stomach acid to break down those gels. I had two doctors put me on those for about 6 months to no avail. Finally, I took things into my own hands and ordered the DRY form, same dosage from Vitalady.com.
In the 6 months I was on the ones the doctors gave me, my levels actually dropped to 11!  I took the Vitalady's dry capsules 5 days a week for 5 weeks and my level went from 11 to 57 Now I take two a week to maintain my level where it should be.

This is just a suggestion and my experience.......

I asked my pharmacist about the dry form and he looked at me like I had three heads....same reaction from my doctors. Shameful!

Congratulations Terri!  Job well done...I know you are feeling and moving a whole lot better.  From what I've heard from my neck of the words (No Calif), low D isn't unusual...not enough sunlight!  Especially during winter months :-(  Hope the dry formula works for you!

CONGRATULATIONS Terri......What an exciting time for you. 
We are heading to Phoenix from our cold and snowy home here in North Dakota.  We leave tomorrow for 2 1/2 weeks.
