talk away...................

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good morning Margo and OFF family,  happy Monday...

Yikes it's cold here and everyone is talking about the big snowstorm coming Wednesday.
My warm weather friends and Michigan Snowbirds out there...think of all of us going crazy with snow and cold....okay I'm jealous! Wish I was someplace warm. LOL

Nothing new with me, I'm boring. Plan on going to the gym after work for some spin class with my BFF and workout buddy Deb. I've been missing my friend, she now has a job that requires travel and she just got back from Texas...now Texas sounds fun, fun and warm and more warm!

Good Morning, All

It's cold here!  Surprise!  It's Western New York.  I glanced quickly at the outdoor thermometer a few minutes and almost stopped bresthing!  I thought it said 53 degrees.  Unfortunately, it was 5 point 2 degrees.  Now, I've lived in this area for 60 winters.  What was I thinking?.....

I'm still recovering.  Walking without the walker for the most part, and have had a few visitors. and had lunch out with friends twice.  Got a few visits planned this week.  Frankly, other than the boredom, I'd just as soon sit home in the warm house as go out in the cold and snow.  I do appreciate my friends keeping me from going stir crazy.  I've even been talking on the phone a bit more, and catching up with friends from away, which is a good thing.  Normally I'm not much for the phone.  And usually I don't mind hanging around the house, but it's gotta be when it's my idea, not a necessity.

In other words, I'm a woman who's been single so long that I want everything MY way.  (This probably doesn't surprise anyone who's met me...)

I'm reading the board more, and rejoicing with Monica's successes, both with the sobriety AND the bra, and Margo's new car, and Debbie's successful move, and Bev's attitude about life, and so much more.  And also keeping in my thoughts those who are struggling and depressed and having such a difficult time right now.

Too much time on my hands....I'm getting all mushy here....

Everyone have a wonderful day.  And stay warm!

Good morning Margo and my OFFer's!

Today is my last day home, it's back to work for me tomorrow. I've tried very hard to keep my schedule light this week so I kind of work my way back into things. I feel great, but around 3:00 in the afternoon I start swelling up like a pufferfish. I can feel my belly expanding, and it even goes down into my thighs. AGH....not very comfortable. I understand this can go on for months yet.

Not going to do much today, Gary's gotten everything under control. Im a lucky gal!

You all take care and give yourself a hug from me

Susan

Good morning all,

Congratulations, Monica, you are an inspiration.
Debbie, it is so cool the way you were up for adventure and trusted yourself to start life in a new place.
Bev, I'm thinking about you daily, and offer a gentle hug.
Candy, so good to hear you are healing and hope you get to start doing more soon.
Margo, yay on your new transportation.
Karen, hey friend!
Carolyn, you too, inspire, you are so busy, even when surgery gets in your way.
Connie, I'm sorry you and your family are going through tough times. Hugs to you too.
Oh, heck! Hugs to all of you!!!!!
Carla, glad you got home safe and sound and hope you stay out of the hospital!
Janet, can't wait to hear about your trip!
Susan, hope you aren't too exhausted after your day at work.
Jeannie, love to see you here. Making your own suits; that is really amazing to me. I can't even hem a pair of pants.
George, baseball, spring and summer are all good.
Judy, hope all is well.
Jackie, I hear ya on the regain, it really stinks.
I'm doing this from memory so if I forgot someone, it's not you, it's me!

Dad went home last Friday and mom is to follow this Wednesday.
It is in the teens here and I am typing with fingerless gloves.

Take Care,
Cheryl

Welcome to Monday Morning. Beautifully cold , blue sky's outside this morning. 30 degrees when I got up.

Today will be all about cleaning, going to ask the honey man to vacuum while I dust, he just said sure, well alright.

Had my cuppa, let the dusting begin. We live down a dirt road, so our dust is more like fine filtered dirt.

Say hello to a new beginning tomorrow, February is coming to visit, can Spring be far behind.

GOD BLESS AMERICA
