What;'s New on Wednesday?
Good Morning Family,
I can't sleep. Went to bed with a sinus headache and still have it. Had dinner at my sis-in-law's last night, and it was so filling, I felt sick as well. I ate too much, and just felt icky. Played Scrabble, as Mom is in town and that is our obligation to her when she comes to town. She won, but the good news is, I was not the Biggest Loser, something I usually do.
Today is another blood test, and then I have to wait for the results at the hematologist's. I am having dental work on Thursday, and must get my coumadin level checked the day before, as I have been off the coumadin since Saturday. Then, Mom and I are heading to the Salvation Army to shop for clothes for my grandchildren. Wednesday is half-price day for almost all the clothes. They have five different color tickets they price things with. Every Wednesday they make everything but ONE color half-price. I have filled a huge bag with clothes and paid less than $25 for the whole bag. I also get myself some nice tops as well. I need some slacks for my new job as well.
Then, the Phillies are on TV this afternoon, so I am going to see if they can win, coz they lost big time last night. I am also making a meal for a family at church. The husband had his second Kidney Transplant a couple of weeks ago, and was released from the hospital over the weekend. Tonight will probably be another Scrabble game at my sister's.

I didn't make it to the gym after work, we had storm warnings out and last time they had the warnings, we were kicked out of the pool so I went grocery shopping instead. Today my plan is to do the pool with BFF Deb. We will rock it!
My hubby said just come home and help him mow the yard. I told him I would when I got back from the gym. Riding the lawn mower is not exercise! LOL
Everyone have a great day. Tri****oo love the Salvation Army, I get great deals and adopt unwanted clothes. I'm wearing a beautiful jacket with flowers, brand new all for the price of 3.00.

Wednesday, hooray, hump day. Actually, one day is the same as any other to me. Our DIL stopped by on her way to work for waffles and bring pants for me to hem. She and our son are still looking into beach property and would love to find a place to buy with our daughter and SIL. She has a friend that is a real estate agent and is always on the look out. I'm not so sure our daughter is as excited at this idea. There is one now in foreclosure I think, 3 bdr, 3 bth for $230,000.
I am missing one color of yarn to make my Eeyore and Piglet stuffed animals. I am going to Michael's this morning and I am determined to get what I need. I have some from bernat.com, redheart.com, joann fabrics, walmart and han**** fabrics. I ordered 2 colors the pattern book said was what I needed, and I gotta tell ya, they look nothing like what Eeyore and Piglet should look like!
Too hot and humid here again today.

Morning all....sober 211 days and so proud of me.
Oh Trish, sinus was what I had on Monday...wow was I so sick. The dizzy, the swollen face, upset stomach, and fatigue. Hope you feel better. I discovered Goodwill...found some oh so nice clothes for so little$$$. Love Debbiejeans "adoptable" clothes. Finding these rescued items is very special. We dropped off items for adoption by others and never expected to find items. Hubby found things he donated to local VFW and our middle daughters birthday, a beautiful old embroidery piece in a pretty frame, all done in french, with lovely vibrant thread. She loved it. I am excited for you and your return to a place you loved to work. How are the toes? Enjoy your day.
Yoda has an appointment for grooming today. He gets picked up and goes to the salon. We will be "walkins" at a local barber shop. Both of our haircuts will cost less and be less trendy than his experience. HaHa.
Local stores did not have their June flyers out yesterday, so I will check specials online, make list, and we will plan our shopping to maximize our loop shopping. Can't wait to see cost of diesel. Local Racetrac here try's hard to keep prices down.

Yes, I love finding the "adoptable" clothes for a bargain. It's Mom
and my hobby. As for the toes, they still flare up, and still have some swelling. I did swim 8 laps yesterday, and they handled the pool okay though. My walking has increased, so I am getting better in "baby steps" no pun intended. I see the podiatrist tomorrow. Thanks for asking.

Good morning all,
Our cable and internet hasn't been working very well. The crew have been hard at work to get it up to speed again.
Before WLS I had to buy bigger clothes for every season. It is still a WOW moment to discover last years clothes still fit.
It has been 25 years since we had a puppy in the house. I am glad we got him in the Summer because little Baxter needs to go out almost every hour. He does sleep from 7:30 pm until 4:30 am. Then he is up, pulling my hair, kissing my face and ready to greet the world.
He sleeps under the covers between Tom's legs, but come morning, he wants me.
Time for work.

My daughter and son-in-law had a Jack Russell Terrier that loved to sleep under the covers between your legs. She was a hoot. Unfortunately, she is gone now. I am hoping my daughter can get another dog for the Munchkins someday, as my granddaughter and grandson love dogs.
Enjoy life with the puppy. It's never a dull moment with my dog and he is almost 3 now.
